Well in 1274 (not 1275 as I typed in haste) and there are only about 150 behind me. They've made a big mistake. They have curled the queue back on itself on the other side of the road.

Hmmm...that doesn't quite sound right. Approx 1,300 in queue and its a 1,400 venue. Less Prince is setting lower capacity so folks have extra dancing room biggrin

Has the great man sent out any milkshakes / pretzels / coffee today?

mad cannot quite believe this! Was all set to head up to London with the view of getting into Koko for gig 2 tonight (or 3 if queue suddenly got bigger) only to find all my bloody trains are up the creek or cancelled because of flooding.

Simply not destined to get to one of these gigs!

I feel your pain....trees on the line down here, so my train is f*ckered as well sad

Chin up though....there's bound to be more gigs. We'll get there!

On a side note, how have the locals taken to that many Prince fans turning up on their doorsteps? If it was me I'd have the windows wide open, some classic Prince cuts up loud on the stereo, and a large tea urn on the boil! biggrin

Even we can't blame Prince for the UK weather and impact on public transport lol

Back from doing the things I need to do. Might leave home around 6 to get to Koko for 7 - should be fine for 2nd show at that. Don't fancy seeing a 1-3 show mind!

Me too! After much deliberation, finally decided to take a punt and travel down (very understanding girlfriend) only to find no trains, just buses. Too much of a mission with no guarantee of getting in...have a great night everyone who made it.
