Barbara darling - had I known you'd been to so many shows (and actually met him, so you must like REALLY know him compared to the plebs front of house), which obviously qualifies you as such an expert that you are able to supercede opinions from those who actually attended the event in question, I wouldn't have dared open my mouth.

I mean, you go to such a high percentage of shows availalble on a tour, it can't possibly be eating you that you missed any of these ones, eh? You must have had your fill.

You might know when you've seen "true emotion", but then, you didn't actually see it, did you?

Anyway, as mentioned previously in the thread, I'm shortly off to the airport for a well-earned holiday. Look forward to catching up what's been going in 10 days time

Of course its about opion and we are all entitled to one, but you seem fairly agressive with yours and you weren't there. Its quite clear there was almost univeral praise by everyone that was there.

You mentioned The Point 95? Did you go? If you did, you know how good it was (my personal favourite non aftershow gig). I rate the Show on Sunday up there with the first night at The Point.

That second gig in the point is up there with the best. It was electric. Loved both nights though. It was a great time to be a Prince fan. [Edited 2/14/14 17:50pm]

Did you go to both? I can't remember which, but one they gave the free tee shirts out at. Thought it was the first, but I could be wrong. That was the killer one for me. It was the night of the Pod show which ever that one was.

tonight was fucking mental. amazing. each show is different even if the setlists show the same songs. it was like a crisp clean clear show tonight, whlst SBE was low and dirty and reminiscent of the 80s aftershows

Didn't get any t-shirts, I did buy some shit though. The merc back then was pretty cool, loved the program and the black and gold Npg shirts. Did you go to the first night at the point? I think that the night everyone was given a free NPG teeshirt as they were filming. That was the one of the two which was off the scale (both were brilliant though).

Sorry, you are wrong on this one. Sure its an opinion, but an uniformed one as you weren't there. Sunday was not a marketing performance. I've seen Prince live over 200 times. I've seen him in a good mood, bad mood, rushed, interested or complacent. I know when he is going through the motions. Sunday was off the scale.

An awful lot of hardcore fans where there on Sunday and seem in unviversal agreement. The Sept 21st 2007 was a great one. Sunday was better.

They confirmed for Sunday at KOKO and Monday at Ronnie Scott's...and then Friday and Saturday in Manchester at "The Manchester", quoting Hannah.
