There is no doubt about it and this past weekend confirmed it plain and simple

People who paid $150 for this show are most likely not going to admit that they didn't like it. Moreover, people who are willing to pay $150 for a show are already the kind of people who probably were going to like what they were gonna see. © Bart Van Hemelen

Congrats on making shit up. The usual defense of P famz who can't stand being confronted with opinions they know to be true, but are desperate to deny. © Bart Van Hemelen

I love how you still desperately want to be part of Prince's inner circle and have adopted the traditional defense mechanisms required of such employees: deny reality, sling insults, and make up shit. © Bart Van Hemelen

Sheesh. Alright, for the kiddies who have not been paying attention: about a decade ago there was a lot of brouhaha about P having predicted Osama Bin Laden's attack on the Twin Towers in a jam during an after show in the late 1990s. I suggest you look up...
Oh why the hell am I expecting you lot to do anything. Here, lemme just give you a relevant link: http://www.princevault.co...%282001%29 © Bart Van Hemelen

What on Earth does this have to do with Prince using Go Go beats? That's what I asked you to name examples of Mr Know It All! And comparing a concert last week to one in 1982 is just absurd. His musical vocabulary has expanded drastically since then. You know, back when he was younger and played a little over an hour. Oh yeah, what is with your idiotic © by your name? And that stupid disclaimer? If you are no longer a Prince fan do everyone on here a favor and GO AWAY!

All you had to do was CLICK THE LINK. But even that was too much trouble. © Bart Van Hemelen

Bart! Can U answer me a serious question? Why do U continue to come on here, if U don't like ANYTHING Prince does anymore?! It doesn't make any sense to me....... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

An obscure song from 2001? I was talking about using Go Go beats in his concerts. I have seen most of his tours and have loads of concerts in my computer but have never heard him using them before.

Eye'v been 2 many many Prince gigs b4 and Eye'm here 2 tall ya, last weekend was something else! The possibilities became reality at Mohegan Sun as 3rdeyegirl & the full NPG opened up options 4 the Purple Yoda 2 groove in any direction he felt moved 2 go. and go he did!!! It really felt like everyone in the band was having fun, including Prince... and after all these years of performing he is still truly passionate when playing Purple Rain! Seeing that performance of PR last Sat night 4 the first encore, after getting all sweaty dancing on stage 2 Housequake and having a few minutes 2 cool off b4 the band came back onstage, Eye watched intensely from the front row as he performed that song like it was 1984 all over again! Don't pay attention 2 all the naysayers and Debbie Downers that complain about the same ol' setlist or infer that others didn't enjoy the show... Blah blah blah. Those of us that were at these gigs or the recent City Winery shows realize we r seeing probably the best overall live performer of our generation, if not all time. The guitar, the bass, the keys, the bandleading...etc all looked & sounded gr8 and left most of us with big smiles on our faces. It's a week later and eye am still smiling Not that P or any of his crew read the org, but a big THANK YOU 2 the entire NPG and Prince 4 those amazing shows and all the smiles left in their wake got Prince?

Also, if anyone went 2 Saturday nights gig (12/28) and was able 2 take pics or video of the Housequake crowd dancers around midnight please PM me. Wifey was unable 2 get any pics/video from front row due 2 security and even tho it's burned into my mind, it would be fun 2C this 47yr old funk soldier dancing it up on stage and playing air guitar next 2 Donna (even though she seemed a little annoyed by how close I got 2 her gear) got Prince?

After being a Prince fan all my life (my father introduced me to purple rain the movie at 3yr old back in 1988). . .I finally went to my 1st Prince concert at age 28 on Dec 27th 2012.
It was the greatest concert i have ever been to in my LIFe and i have been to many !
Prince seemed to be in top form just wished he played more guitar caus when he picked up his axe it was pure magic. never seen a guitarst play with so much emotion. I say this caus i am a regular at rock and metal shows.
the highlight for me had to be the EPIC amazing solo of "something in the water" the sounds he was making with that guitar seem unhuman. and left the whole crowd in awe.
the band was really funky and prince was a supreme band leader. He also danced the night away.
Absolutely the best musical concert of my life !

It took you a year to write about it but I'm glad you did, but that's the power of Prince - he keeps the energy going until you can't help but explode months later!!

If you think about it by not playing his guitar much it makes P's solo's stand out even more.
