Just listened to a tape of the first hour of the show of the 27th: unmitigated rubbish. I hope Prince watches that 1982 performance that "leaked" a couple of days ago, and hangs his head in shame.

//::/I think you are lying. You did not hear a tape of the show and everybody knows Prince rehearses his bands.

Um, the show is out and I've stated fpor awhiler that prior to the 27th, the only folks rehearsing were 3EG, everyone else in the NPG was off doing their own thing; they werent in MPLS at Paisley like Hannah,m Donna and IDA

I downloaded videos of the show yesterday. It's almost the whole concert from the 27th. It's out there.

Janelle ended at 10:07. Long set that included Let's Go Crazy.

Now Doug E Fresh and a DJ from the soundboard.

Going to be a long night. Doors for the afterparty was supposed to be at 11:30 with it starting at 1am. But it is 10:36...

It does not mean Bart has heard it. I would be more willing to take the word of people who went to the show and the media over this asshat who thinks it is 1982.

Anyone notice on Fri night that he used an 80's GoGo Beat on a couple of tunes? I have never heard him do that before.

Then you haven't been paying attention.

Name some examples. Most people on here would not even know what we are talking about. They are more interested in his hairdo or attire!

You talk a lot about things you know little about. Fri wasn't the best Prince show that I've seen over the last decade but "A band that sounds barely rehearsed"? Boring song selection"? "endless medleys and jams?" You were not there so why bother commenting? A tape of the 1st hour? Off the soundboard I'm sure! The show was 2 1/2 hours!

O.M.G. best freaking concert ever! Thanks to Prince, the NPG and 3EG.
Shelby, Liv and Elisa killed it. Proud of Elisa she got a lot of shine tonight, and her voice is amazing.
Janelle turned it out. Unbelievable performance. What was cool is when Prince came out during her opening song, and sang part of 'Give them what they love'. I was so happy that he came out and sang it with her. Nice surprise after Janelle's performance Doug E fresh showed up and turned the entire arena into a nightclub for about 40 minutes. Everyone was on their feet. It was freaking amazing. I am not too far sitting near the Cabaret, and it is 1:55am and still people in line waiting to get in. although I wasn't planning on going to the after party, I'm sure they're burning the floor in there.

Anyway Prince looks great and very healthy, and energetic usual. He really put on a good show and it was fun, I like how he split the band during the show, with 3EG and then back to the NPG band members, and with that being said I am worn out, and now leaving the casino and going back to the hotel to sleep and prepare for the drive back home tomorrow.

Isn't it funny? Pretty much everyone that actually goes to a Prince show comes back and raves about how great it was.

Yet geniuses like Bart who weren't there at all have absolutely no problem telling you how crappy the show was that you just attended.

Yeah, great picture. As for Liv show, that's the main reason I didn't go to the aftershow. Saw enough of her and Shelby @ City Winery and on Friday to last me the rest of my life.

I enjoyed that live version of 'Something in the Water Doesn't Compute'. Loved the entire show. I like how he sang the samplers. He did the samplers different from his W2A shows, because he sang some of the songs rather than just playing the beats.
