Well last night's show was great as usual, unfortunately my phone battery died halfway through. The crowd was definitely better, much more into it than Friday night. I was a little surprised he did songs like Days of Wild and Something In The Water for a 2nd consecutive night but still hasn't touched Kiss or Corvette yet this weekend, maybe he's saving them for tonight.

An awesome show for sure...i left comepletly satisfied...he rocked the house with the 3EG set ... he was channeling the supergroup Cream as they cranked it up as a fine tuned unit...even the piano and sampler set did not seemed rushed as in previous W2A shows...i just wished the lights were on for some of that segment...but i would say it worked well for the piano part...PR was crazy good cause he took that one last solo that he always teases and just killed it!...lots of people left after the house lights came on thinking the concert was ending then NPG out and everyone surged to the front ...Igot pretty close and its was really cool to see Days of Wild from that standpoint..the bullhorn took the whole night over the top for me... its was a long ride home to Boston..if i wasnt working tomorow id be going back there tonite

His aftershows are a crapshoot. I've seen great ones and I've seen duds. Lately he hasn't been playing much guitar at them. Expect lots of covers and other people singing some of the time (which is a bummer for me). If you are already up at MS and staying over why not. I wouldn't make a special trip up there for it though. I wonder if they'll be selling alcohol that late?

Ha ha, if it turns out to be a 3EG rock show I will kick myself!

Just listened to a tape of the first hour of the show of the 27th: unmitigated rubbish. A band that sounds barely rehearsed, endless medleys and jams, a predictable and boring song selection, an overdose of pointless covers (mostly for the benefit of "showcasing" the backing singers), Prince shouting instead of singing,...

I hope Prince watches that 1982 performance that "leaked" a couple of days ago, and hangs his head in shame.

Really? Apart from a mishap at the start of Extraloveable I thought they sounded pretty well rehearsed.
