Showbiz have been so rude to me on the phone. I will NEVER use a service like his again. We are paying more than double the face value of the tickets only to get SHITE service.

The ticket sales for this tour have been handled terribly.. im actually not going to any of the concerts in australia.. & im left wondering ..
with all the fees i have paid in the past to prince websites guaranteeing me lifetime membership and priority seating.. where the fuck was my front row priority seating options?

I had a look but the $99 seats just seem to be silver. However they seem to be selling single purple circle table seats for $450. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it! |

So Gold reserve premium fan exterience tickets purchased on the Friday before the general tickets sale through Showbiz and i end up with Section 4 Row A - meaning about half way through sec 4. What a fucking rip off. What happened to the "guaranteed within the first 5 rows"?? Anyone have any direct contact / emails for Showbiz?

I have to say Showbiz have been pretty good with me, I ordered Purple VIP and I got Section 10 row 2, which is not bad I was afraid I might get behind the circle, but in saying that I think they should advise exactly what you are paying for. I may have just got lucky but you are correct that it is disappointing if were told you would get first 5 rows. Contact details below:

Unfortunately, talking to one of their phone people doesnt help - they're just working there doing their job- so it doesnt help getting angry with them. They are all apologetic. SAme as getting angry with someone in the ticket booth. Glad you're happy with your seats. The purple circle has not changed much since the begining. But the Gold VIP went from a small section around the Purple VIP (as for when i purchased mine) to now include almost all of the arena.
It's just poor form on their part to not provide what they had promised to provide. My wife's standard gold seats almost the same as mine - and it was half the price. Hate getting ripped off. Any lawyers here? Someone previously mentioned a class action........ | |

Seems like these things happen with a lot of princes gigs/tours these days. I remember the same complaints from the London shows in the O2 onward. Does this have to do with Prince or is this just business as usual for a lot of ticket companies?

Showbiz did not serve me as well for Melbourne #1, Section 21, 21st Row (Last row in lower section), for Gold tickets that were nearly $60 above face value, I'm not that impressed.
Luckily this was a back-up plan in case I got screwed with my purple seating vip package by Preferred Seating, still waiting on that one | |

I actually saw a youtube clip the other day of a James Brown Concert or tribute, where James Brown calls up MJ on the stage to perform and then MJ whispers to James Brown to call up Prince on stage to perform, first time I've ever seen them on stage together, this would have been early 80's | |

Btw...that merchandising is lame.....Those T-shirts look like I printed them!
I'm so annoyed I accidentally threw out my 1992 black Dimaonds and Pearls T-shirt during my last move...now THAT was a nice shirt.
I wonder if the symbol chain is made of metal or plastic....I'm pretty easy going in general...but I don't do plastic.
