These big announcements on FB are always an anti-climax. Will probably just be something we already know.

I'm getting worried now that I paid $550 for a Purple Reserve ticket that could be behind the circle and the promoter kept the good seats to release now, it's all a bit stressful

For the people that purchased tickets through Showbiz you can ring them up and they can advise you where your seats are, you will just need to supply them your reference number. I just did and was told I am in Sec 10, Row 5 (EE), Sydney 1st Concert, pretty happy with that.

Just picked up a ticket for Melb 14/5 in section 7, row C for $350. It means I'll have to find a buyer for my original gold ticket (section 8, row U, if anyone's keen), but even if I don't manage to sell it (or sell it at a discount), it would still be cheaper than if I'd bought the Showbiz package.

Just called them and they still can't tell me . But it sounds like you got a good section, so I'm hopeful. But bloomin' 'eck. How hard is it to allocate someone, who bought tickets within the hour they were made available, a seat? If they put me behind the 'circle' I'll be pissed!

Hmmm, thats a bummer...keep trying I suppose. Im sure everyone that bought from Showbiz are going to be allocated good seats, especially for the prices we paid.

On the subject of new tickets being released from ticketek, I got a refund and repurchased my Gold 35 to Purple Reserve D (Melbourne 15) from ticketek yesterday, only because it was an upgrade to better seats.

To do this you have to go a Ticketek outlet not a dealer and pay the difference and they will allocate you new seats. You have to hand back the original tickets.

Got the run around though!

mee too! Im totally stressed out about it!!!

Anyone have any bright ideas about some sort of messaging system to tip each other off about any aftershow activity?

To me it shows that Ticketek botched this up. Or Chugg. They obviously didn't know or didn't care the the behind the circle, behind the drum kits floor seats are really not great seats.

I went to 6 shows last year in New York/San Fran and LA sitting in a variety of seats and those A,B,C sections are really not great and these are the ones they gave to Showbiz and Preferred Seating?

Not well organized. I could be wrong... but it looks that way...

I mean they should really have just done what they did in America and sold that section as GA floor for $99 The ones on the front D,E,F are fine...

They don't care, as long as they get their money. If they cared, they would put some effort into software that allows you to choose your seat.
