How is security there?

So who will be on stage tonight? Guesses? Janelle Monae again? I saw there is a support act (Armel Larriex), never heard of her... But recently there has been Gwen Stefani, Stevie Wonder... who could it be? I am okay if its just Prince but we need something special, like a real piano solo set..

I would love to see Mike Phillips bringing some hornz.. Any ideas? Rumours?

Beefier last week than an opening night. I didn't notice people getting patted down on the way in, but the guarding of the aisles for loge & floor seats was more intense. We had to wait till the encores after many people left to sneak to a better location.Supposedly people caught shooting pics have had their camera contents deleted.

Amel Larrieux was the singer in Groove Theory (known for their hit "Tell Me"). The Groove Theory album is awesome and her solo albums are great as well. She also sang with Sweetback (Sade's band sans Sade).

Security was really intense last night when people were taking pictures....they swooped in on every single person taking pics until the end of the show. They just tell you to stop....but one guy looked like he was going to get thrown out because he kept taking pics and shooting video.

Security on the way in was cursory, but the last two shows have been increasingly hardcore on people taking pictures. The forum staff is really nice, but it's clear they've been told to be strict. Stealthy iPhone photos were easy, but actual camera shots were getting clamped down on. CSC Security (blue/grey jackets, headphones) were paying more attention to this than Forum (yellow).

Just went on ticketmaster and all tickets for tonights show are $25.00. I got mine in Lodge 30 row D. Baby! I'm so there.

security was aggressive in loge and the purple pit dance party last night. prince's security team was patrolling feverishly and shining their lights on people taking pix/video. then the greycoats would go and inspect the phone/camera to delete anything then escorted people out. i saw 4 people get whisked away and i only noticed it when the lights were brighter during stevie

NICE......... I am trying to get better tix for tonight's show but I can't get into the ticketmaster sight anymore. I already have tix but want to see what else is out there.
