People did that for the Jay-Z concert last year but THAT I was expecting lol
I Was in 227 burly guy with long white hair in a braid just whipped it right out his pocket and started blazing up... I was like what is this the 1980's???? this isn't a Rick James concert! I didn't mind but the lady in front of me did.. it took her all of .3 seconds to go get the usher and tattle tale. it wasn't gonna take away from my Prince experience! which I am still talking about to this day. I'm insanely jealous of the 21 nights in LA... 21 nights in NC would have been impossible but a sister can dream!
Dang! *I* was in section 227. Where the heck was *I*???!! LOL! No, seriously, you can't do that at a Prince concert. Other concerts you may be able to get away with it but I don't think *that* and Prince go together too well. One mellows you out and the other hypes you up!
I'm also "insanely jealous of the 21 nights in LA". I've been keeping my eyes open to see where he was playing next (hoping the mid-west so I could take a trip to see him and some family). But LA. Dang. So far away..... |

I was in 225, but I didn't notice any of that activity around us luckily. But then again, I'm not sure I would have noticed since I was already in foggy state of purple myself...
My friends and I have been seriously looking at flights/hotels for a trip to LA, we're still trying to decide. It is so far to travel, but I know it would be so well worth it. |

They moved our seats to 209 or 201, i gotta look at my ticket, but there were better seats than originally planned so yay! If I had known so many of ya'll were gonna be there, I woulda suggested an Org afterparty lol "Is anyone pregnant yet?" - Prince 3.26.11 |

An Org afterparty would have awesome!! Let's hope there's another opportunity soon lol
Our seats were actually pretty darn good. We were at the very bottom of the level, so we didn't have anyone in front of us, which was great for dancing and jumping like a maniac..lol |

Omg what a night!!!! My sister and I had floor seats, near the round part of the stage setup. Prince is the man and always will be in my eyes...... he worked the stage like the pro he is! To all of my purple people in the center floor section, I'm sorry if I hurt your ears with my constant screaming. I could not help it. When he sang the "Insatiable/Scandalous/Adore" medley, I melted, the whole thing felt surreal I will never forget tonight! I'm still on a purple high!!!! To the big guy that was dancing like no one was looking and was picked by Prince to work the stage along with him, you really did your thing!!!! I give you props for working it on that freakin' stage!!!! You absolutely made the most of that opportunity!!!!!!!!
Were you sitting at the center of the round part at the "back" of the stage? What row? How was the view? I have that area for the April 22nd show at the Forum in LA and was wondering. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed him!!! |

My sister and I were sitting behind the round part of the symbol stage set-up. We were dead center, on the second row. The view was very good, Prince made his way to that part of the stage many times...... especially when he sang "Let's Go Crazy". He stood approximately 15 feet from us and shook his little a$$, lol! Again, true to form, I was screaming and nearly fainted. My voice was shot for a week, but oh so worth it!!!! I know you will definitely enjoy the show! You're lucky to have that man on the west coast for 21 nights. Actually my sister and I are considering making our way out west to do it again! Oh yeah, its like that! Oooooooooooh, wait a minute, I think ya betta trip on this!!!!! |

I haven't bought tickets yet for Los Angeles but was going to ask between sitting at the tip of the arrow or in the back on the rounded part of the stage, which would be better? Thanks |

A fellow orger gave me great advice, imo, re: the best area in which to sit. Try to find seats that are slightly elevated so you can have an unobstructed view regardless of where Prince happens to be onstage. In Columbia, SC I was level with the top of the stage on the side with his piano, and that section was perfect. Hope that helps and have good time! |

Thanks so much. I've been looking for tickets with that view as well. LOL Part of me wants to be on the floor for when people start to leave when they think that it's over. That way I can get closer to the stage. I know.....shameless. |

I was fortunate enough to attend the Greensboro show. This was the best concert I have ever been to and I was pretty far back |
