Best show of the 3 NC shows!!!! Loved every part of it...except Chaka. Her set was SO LOUD! But I danced the entire time anyway cause I love her and her songs. Prince came out and was being such a flirt, I knew I was in for one hell of a show. That lookalike had folks screaming, though I could tell from far away it wasn't Prince. So Prince came out prancing around, looking sexy in black and gold. He has worked it out every night and he finally did one of my fave songs.. Musicology! I love that song, too funky. I was very, very happy with this setlist. The songs were great, his guitar playing was superb, he was SO SEXY, and he worked it out on the dance moves. I went wild when he said "I need me a big sexy woman. But she gotta know how to cook. I may be little but I love to eat. I hear they got some good collard greens here. Sweet potatoes, but I don't know eat meat." Me and this one lady behind me were screaming our butts off...especially when Prince asked if we had somewhere for him to stay. He did that little crawl on the floor like he used to do and I lost it! And he laid down on the piano when he said "when we be making love..." Hmmm, wow!!! So HOT and SEXY!!! Other than the 3 stupid drunk guys standing next to me that kept trying to hug all on me the entire night, the show was AWESOME!!! I want more...more...more!!

Yeah, I had to bust several bubbles where I was sitting about ole Marcus. I said...you guys...that is NOT Prince! Come on now...it is NOT him. And I was sitting a ways away...I know when i see Prince, and that is NOT him! LOL

When Prince performs in Greensboro on March 26, one member of the band will see it as more than just another tour date.
Shelby Johnson, who grew up in Greensboro, has been a backup singer with The New Power Generation since 2007.
"It was a dream of mine to perform in the Greensboro Coliseum since I was seven years old, so this concert is going to be a dream come true," Johnson said.
All over the campus of NC A&T on Friday, it was Shelby J Day. She did an interview with the campus radio station, and the entire campus seemed to be abuzz with Johnson's presence.
Johnson hopes the concert itself will show Prince what the town is really made of.
"I want to show him the love and support that I had my entire life. I want to show him how we do it in Greensboro," Johnson said.
Prince will sing at Johnson's upcoming wedding, when she marries her high school sweetheart who went to Smith High School.

^^Can we put this in the "Worst Dressed at a Prince Concert" Thread?

If Prince wasn't happy about the imposters, security would've gotten them out - by the sounds of things they're hardly "low profile".

People describe the concert as an experience, and to me, possibly seeing and taking photos of Prince close up is part of the experience - it gives people a story to tell and something to remember for decades.

Does it really matter if it's not him? Is it essential for people to go to great lengths to "prove" to people that it's not him?

I think it's nice.

I'll bet, every so often, Prince slips out into the crowd too and doesn't get hassled quite as much as he normally would because people (other than first-timers) assume it's Marcus and don't bother looking properly

So I'm sure some of the sightings are legit
