Ticketmaster still has some tix... cheap seats are sold out.

I will be there with my daughter (14)... it will be her first Prince show, my second... I saw him on the Jam of the Year tour back in 96.

Can't wait for tonight! Charlotte was my first Prince concert. I tried taking some pics with my iPhone but the quality sucked. I'm thinking about trying to get my camera in tonight. I saw some at the Charlotte concert so it's not completely taboo.

I won't be trying the flowers again.

Im thinking of sneaking my camera in too. I'm just trying to figure out how to do it. I only want a couple of good pics, I'm not going to spend the whole night taking pictures. I want to enjoy the show.

I know Prince thinks cameras are unnecessary and only promote living in the past but for those of us living the 9 to 5 grind, visiting the past is an occasional escape.

^^^ Wow. Have you been to ALL the Welcome 2 America concerts? If so, I am awestruck. I was only able to make four of them. Fortunately, the second time, he came to me! P.S. On my way out the door to see Sheila E!!!!

Greensboro show was GREAT!!! worth every penny....

I cant remember the set list in order but reallly went way back with She's always in my hair, Let's work, controversy scandalous, adore, kiss, purple rain, musicology, rifs of play that funky music white boy, went even further back and played Cool, the Bird, jungle love...OUTSTANDING show.......on the piano he play short snippets of the most beautiful girl, darling nikki, alphabet street, when doves cry....etc......

OMG, what a show!

We had tickets in upper section 201 row BBB, the top row behind the stage. When the lady scanned our tix, she said we needed to go see the lady at the table. She exchanged our tix for section 225 row B! That put us in front of the stage in the 2nd row!

Chaka Khan was good but the sound was a loud, blurry mess. She deserved better.

When P took the stage with DMSR, I knew we were in for a good night.

I'll post more later when my brain calms down a bit......

Prince blew to roof off of the Greensboro Coliseum tonight....I have tons of pics and will post more in the a.m. but for now I must go to bed....I am exhausted from the dancing, adrenaline, sweating, and most of I need to have sweet dreams of my man PRINCe

Omg what a night!!!! My sister and I had floor seats, near the round part of the stage setup. Prince is the man and always will be in my eyes...... he worked the stage like the pro he is! To all of my purple people in the center floor section, I'm sorry if I hurt your ears with my constant screaming. I could not help it. When he sang the "Insatiable/Scandalous/Adore" medley, I melted, the whole thing felt surreal I will never forget tonight! I'm still on a purple high!!!! To the big guy that was dancing like no one was looking and was picked by Prince to work the stage along with him, you really did your thing!!!! I give you props for working it on that freakin' stage!!!! You absolutely made the most of that opportunity!!!!!!!!

Holy crap did we get the ticket upgrade!!!

We had section 235 row p and when they scanned it, they told us to go to the lady and we ended up in row 125 pp, it was like the center of the cymbal. It was awesome!

Had a blast and loved the show. Much better than the Jam of the Year tour. It did not feel rushed tonight and while Chaka's set sounded muddled, Prince's was clear (if a might bit too loud)

This is my 1st post! I was in Greensboro tonight! WOW! What a show! I am more in awe of His Majesty than ever!

Well, I have seen Prince many many times live....But I am here to tell you...tonight, he rocked it out! Now don't get me wrong...he always, always works it, but tonight the energy level was through the roof!!!!!! He played some of the "hits" but he played so much more too! He was into the crowd and the crowd was totally feeding off of it. He busted out with some jungle love....whew! Extraordinary....Insatiable.....

I can barely think right now. It was really really an awesome performance. He was on FIRE!

Now, on another note...when he pulled the crowd of folks up to dance...one girl got too close to the edge and fell OFF. I am not kidding...I HOPE she is OK. She just did not realize how close she was to the edge, her heel went off the side and she went over the edge. Prince and the band did not see it because the girl was behind all the other people dancing and Prince and the band were on the other side of the people. If anyone has any info on the lady, let me know. Just hope she is alright.

Other than that mishap, the show was totally on fire. I cannot stress this enough....what a show!!!
