Thanks, I couldn't make tonight's show either, but will for 2/7. I see "Shhh" is on the setlist posted. Sometimes he changes up and add songs that's not on the list. Nice pics. Jimmy looks very excited. I bet he wouldn't mind having Prince on his show. With all that high energy at MSG, wouldn't be surprised if P does show up at BB or some other club after the show.

I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo jealous that today's MSG show looks better than on 29-th! I'm going again feb. 7, and I hope if he surprises us. I'm so disappointed I couldn't go to Brooklyn Bowl today because of the weather and road conditions. I can't take such risk driving like that.

Had I bought the ticket, I wouldn't have been able to go and would have lost money, but I'm going to the 2/7 show. Whaaattt?? Say it isn't so? Jimmy looks liike he's having a good time. I bet they'll all be partying somewhere with Prince later, who knows, maybe he'll do the BB, but if not, maybe at another club. I have to say, since these MSG series, there's been many celebrities/artists popping up at these shows, and ending up on stage partying with Prince.

I went to the Izod concerts and got to see NYC for the first time--can't beat that with a stick! Also, I just heard on my local radio station 98.1 KISS FM that "Prince is heading for the West Coast!" So, maybe I'll get to see him again, after all!

No problem. If you don't know where you're going in NYC, you can get lost in the crowd. Some folks are friendly, some not. It's a busy and hectic place, but not boring, that's for sure. Also, I hope you do get to see Prince if he gets to the West Coast, but for now NYC fans are enjoying having him here.

This sounds like a fun show and I LOVE Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, I bet that was awesome!

Just got in and all I can say is WOW. Opening was great....Prince came onto the stage went to his piano and kept teasing the crowd with what song he was going to play. In some order ...he sampled the following songs. After playing 10 or 15 seconds of each, he changed the song. He kept this going.....you will read:

Started with When Doves Cry Opening

skipped to Pop Life snippet

skipped to Alphabet Street

Skipped to Darlin Nikki and stated "please don't make me play that"

Skipped back to When Doves Cry

Skipped to Black Sweat

Skipped to Hot Thing!!! said "you don't know my Music"

Skipped to Nasty Girl

Skipped to Sign of the Times **actually sang the first line

Prince did three encores at the Izod on the 17th... If he did four tonight--that means he is really feeling the audience and the music...and that means more performances in the near future!

I just got in as well!! Awesome show!! The segue from Scandalous to Adore had me weak in the knees.

I would have preferred a Sometimes is snows in April to close it out rather than Peach.

Yes he did 4 encores and up until tonight the izod show on the 17th was the best... MSG 1/18 is now the best show out of all 5 shows... Prince said something tonight that he'll keep playing msg as long we will have him... the 7th isnt the last show for NYC...
