lol funny. also ppl should check out www.drfunkenberry.com. for updates on this. NOT TRUE.
Peace.
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

obsessed

I haven't read many of the responses, but come on,
he doesn't need to give much notice because the
tickets will sell out in seconds....only those who are close
in proximity or willing to fly and spend a great deal of
money will be able to actually see the concert.

Basically once again his European fans are all he needs.
He's really not catering to the American or Australian fans here.

It's seems now that FNAC Monaco has sold all the tickets already for the gig. No official word from lotusflow3r after advertising tickets which in reality wasn't there or available for the lotusflow3r members. This is false advertising and possible the final nail in the coffin as i'm concerned. I continously went on lotusflow3r from 09:00 UK time and eventually waited until 04:00am UK time where there was still no developments. This finally shows the real light about prince and this project! I plan to take action further.

I cannot believe no one on the org has anything to say. I never complain about anything but this is outrageous. The lotusflow3r members were promised that tickets would be available so thats why i and many more probably never ordered from that site as of the price and how it was all french so you wasnt sure what you were ordering or if it was safe. I never saw a secure padlock on FNAC either. But i cannot believe that fans can wait all day for this tickets and get nothing. Don't you girls and guys think that is terribly wrong?

The sell is beginning in 4 minutes on fnac.com. Honestly, I don't think that a lot of people here will complain that we coudn't get those tickets for a 510 euros concert that will mostly be one of the most uninteresting Prince shows in year, turning as a party singer for people coming to have a lunch and some distractions.

It now seems another concert is going ahead. the tickets were 200 euros on that site for the monaco opera house. This random 510 euro is for another concert that hasn't even been confirmed. This situation is getting more bizarre.

Was in Peru when he played Montreux (2 hours drive from where I live). Now I guess I'll do Monaco instead - 6 hours but what the hell. Haven't seen him since the infamous 21 September aftershow at the Indigo.

Wouldn't allow me to get 2 x 2 tickets, only 1 per show. Tickets are pick-up only as far as I can tell, from FNAC stores, not the venue itself. Not sure about seating - my confirmation says nothing about rows or seat numbers.

Hey i'm from Lima, Peru. What were you doing here? u mean Peru in Southamerica? how is Monaco a 2-hour drive from where u live? don't u live in London, as your profile says?

Was travelling around Ecuador and Peru for two months. Used to live in London - living in Zurich now but I suppose updating my prince.org profile wasn't really the first item on my to-do list. Moving back to London next month anyway so you'll forgive me for leaving it as it is for the time being.

Not really. The rumors were always about two shows at the opera house on the 13th (which are now sold out) and another show including dinner at a place called the Sporting on the 16th, for which tickets are now on sale (515 Euros).

I also was too late to get tickets but on lotusflower they only said 'tickets go on sale tomorrow'. They never mentioned tickets on sale here on lotusflower. Or did you get an email that tickets would be sold at lotusflower. Don't waiste your energy on filing complaints...Just wait for more shows to come. I know it is frustrating but come on it is just a show.

What are they having a 9 caret gold plated dinner then. I can understand what you are saying rafael really it is just a show. But really wouldn't you think lotusflow3r were saving tickets for the members like they promised from the beginning. Plus i was lead to believe through the forum that lotusflow3r were getting tickets. Oh well, life goes on!

Well, I'm a strict vegetarian (no meat, no seafood) and I don't drink any alcohol. So that's a little too much for a salad, some bread and a few glasses of water.

no nothing more bizarre.

the SBM society is a Grimaldi family's company.(my sister works there, but the b.... is on holidays machinegun )
the price seems ok for a diner and show in Monaco.
You can buy the tickets on their website or in their office which is located near the marina...
personnaly, I shall not go, I already have a smart diner planned this evening queen

There were rumors about Paris at the end of July. Then for the end of August. So maybe, we have a chance... Because, if he plays in Paris, he will not be able to ask for so much money. Dude, don't jump to conclusions about what I do or don't care about. I do think 515 Euros is a ridiculous amount of money for dinner and a concert. And I would never spend that kind of money for a Prince show. But why the hell should I complain about it - if he can fill a venue with prices like that (and he will, because this is Monaco after all) why shouldn't he?

Now, you wanna know who I think is crazy? People who paid $77 for access to a Prince website. I learned my lesson with my $100 "lifelong NPGMC membership".

When Babs Streisand played in Paris the French snubbed her ticket prices of 500 euro and the show was far from sold out.

And let's be honest, what artist is worth this type of price?

We're all fans here, but if it's to hear Purple rain for the millionth time or snippets of classics mixed in which a couple of more obscurre tracks...well then thoses sort of ticket prices are a rip off.

Speaking of rip off, I hear many of you complaining abour NPG and lotusflower..has anyone contacted a consumer organisation or made a formal complaint??

Well have a look at the posts about the lotusflower site, lots of people seem unhappy with the promised services that never materialised.

http://prince.org/msg/13/312964

The "lifelong" claim of N¨PG has also been brought up

I personally don't feel concerned by this so we'll see what others post.

I think complaining that this is out of reach of most fans is a bit silly.

He did just do (well, a while ago) 21 nights at a rather large venue for a very cheap price, and before that 31 nights in Vegas.

Going to Monte Carlo is more an "experience" concert. Good on him for doing interesting things... and I guess he gets a free trip to Europe and a stay at a nice hotel or 2!

Having said that, Monte Carlo is a bit of a weird place.
It's like it was designed by a crazy millionaire in the 70's, which it probably was, and never updated!

there is a part on your control panel labelled Tickets - where it permanently states "There are no tickets available at present" (or some such)... The question is where were the Montreux/Lotusflower member tickets? Where were the Monaco/Lotusflower tickets?

And where, oh where, are the Lotusflower downloads of live tracks (we know you recorded Montreux Mr. Nelson) that would be so easy to put up...

$80 for a t-shirt is a little steep even for the residents of Switzerland and Monaco. Where is the value for money???
