The Tommy James comment is funny, but I checked with my dad who was lead guitar as a Shondel back in the day said it was cool  that he opened with Crimson & Clover... and having been there 10 ft. away I can asure you if TJ had been there he would have been proud  got Prince? | |

I was in New York from October 9th until October 12th and had no idea Prince would do concerts there! I only found out a little over a week ago and I'm still madly pissed... as I realize I have been on prince.org on October 11th at around 01:30am (around the time the aftershow started) at my hostel on 45th street and before going online I was really close to the area where that hotel is located, unfortunatley I was only in the Non-Prince section, so I didn't see the news and I didn't have time to go on prince.org after the announcement came and before I flew to NY on Oct. 9th... I can't help thinking what would have happened, had I had a glance at the news section!
I wanna know, how many of you, who hadn't won tickets, did buy them the day of the show or even at the door, or did all of you win the tickets? Would there have been a chance to get a ticket, had I known about it? Did anyone try to get tickets, but didn't get one??? Did some more people miss out too because they didn't know? Damn, this is so fucking annoying...  especially after the Dublin
disappointment... it would have been so awesome to be treated to an unexpected Prince show! So please anyone answer my questions, so I can decide on whether to continue being upset about it or just accepting, that I wouldn't have gotten in anyway! | |

You could actually get a ticket/entry at the show. $312 or whatever it was, but the event organizers themselves were selling entry down on street level. | |
