I may stay sober and use my motorcycle.

[Edited 3/1/08 5:26am] its about 20 min walk 2 croker from o connell st. i would strongly advice anyone going 2 the gig 2 get accomodation as close 2 the city centre as possible. use the croke park website 4 directions,,,U can downlaod a map of the area there. will b easier 4 U afterwards. also a good tip is 2 have a good lunch n the city centre b4 U go 2 the gig...as the cost of food n the stadium is Xpensive n not top quality n if U want 2 pay 9 euros 4 a hot dog n 9 euros 4 a beer n a plastic container n the stadium thats ur business. make life much easier n go 4 a good meal b4 hand n a few beers 2 lighten up n another great tip is 2 get a stand ticket as if its a scorcher on the day U will get dehydrated on the pitch so at least the stand will give u a cool shade n will protect U from sunburn etc. above all else...HAVE FUN!!! I remember in 95 getting into the pod after the first show, and P and Bono where there discussing the following nites show, to get into the Pod the nite of the actual show, you really had to have good connections. It ended up a very elite thing and reviews of that show also stated that the atmosphere was ruined by an audience of people who didnt even know who Bono was let alone Prince. Anyone that has heard the boot of that aftershow will confirm this If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Yeah, but not at the aftershow which was on the second night , I could have got in that night, but my GF and other friends were also at the main concert and I knew there was no way 10 of us were going to stroll in there. It was really amazing, coz on the first nites mainshow, there was very little interest, but P put on a show that was simply mindblowing, the following evening which had not sold out, was suddenly the hottest ticket in Dublin town, anyone that was at those shows probably remembers what it was like, NO hits, but the place rocked, to this day, 2 of the best concerts I was ever at If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Does anyone have any further information about the possible Milan and Paris dates?
Problem is: I can go to Dublin but my girlfriend will be on a flight to New Zealand on that day. I'd **love** to take her to her first Prince concert. Someone posted this link: http://www.ticketbande.de...ckets.html Any other mention of the other concerts? We could make Milan 14-6.

It was really amazing, coz on the first nites mainshow, there was very little interest, but P put on a show that was simply mindblowing, the following evening which had not sold out, was suddenly the hottest ticket in Dublin town, anyone that was at those shows probably remembers what it was like, NO hits, but the place rocked, to this day, 2 of the best concerts I was ever at sorry U were not there on the second night....U missed a fantastic aftershow n that version of the cross with bono will last with me 4ever....i think it was 6am leaving there..all i know is the birds were singin while we were walkin back 2 the gresham hotel..lol. mrs wolfy had blisters on her feet from wearin those high heels n dancin all nite... we will have 2 meet up after the main gig n we can get a taxi 2 the aftershow. im thinkin of leavin b4 the last encore 2 secure a place n the Q. would love if prince did a sale 4 the aftershow with NPGMC password sent via e mail....that would please all us long term fams. U can imagine the Q with everyone wanting 2 get n there....lol theres a great friend of mine who works with event guard n he has told me they have the contract 4 the croke park gig.....he gets 2 meet all the big names when they come 2 ireland. we have decided anyway that when tix go on sale were going 4 the hogan stand lower tier... im like a kid with the Xcitment. WOLFY yeah, I remember after the first Pod night trying to find my way back to D4 at 5am, if you remember where Jury´s was or the lansdowne hotel, you will know what i am talking about, had some great laughs and met some great people on my way home that nite (morning), ah alas, those were the dayz, The Dayz Of Wild If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.
