Nada Surf's ''Weightless'' will be the first such video, first available on Feb. 29. The soundtrack will be sold as a CD at Best Buy stores and as a music download through various digital music stores.

Bob Dylan, Wilco, Bowie, Iggy...may not be funky but the girls are in some class A company.

My big question is are W&Ls tracks on here actual songs or just scene music?

It's just score.... Wendy & Lisa do the soundtrack to Heroes as well as several other shows. It's should be really nice either way.

steve parke (former prince camp) is doing a bunch of the packaging I believe... last I heard...

I'm looking forward to this for sure.

Maybe the studio doesn't want them too do so. They have on some other shows, iirc.

right? i was telling a friend yesterday that i wish they'd put some of their songs into the show.

I like the idea of them being on a disc with Panic -- Nine in the Afternoon reminds me a lot of Paisley Park (the song), and the video is reminiscent of the Raspberry Beret video.

Excellent W&L are lucky to be around that kind of talent, as far as FUNKY, when the hell were W&L funky? They were around the funk, but they never had it.

I agree...they fell more into the alternative mold if you want to label them. But Are You My Baby? from Fruit at the Bottom is definitely one hell of a funky little gem.

Strung Out on Eroica? I bust out a bunch more if need be. Don't make that kind of comment unless you know enough to make it ..it's just ignant wink
Plus the talent is equally lucky to be around them.

I've never heard any music on Heroes aside from Wendy & Lisa's score. Where on earth did they come up with all this other music? Has anyone ever heard any of these songs on an episode of Heores?
