The Batman screen test/new theme Surprised to not see this here yet and i like it.

Cant really judge the costume yet because we've only seen from the chest up. From what we can see, it looks similar to the costume from the Telltale Batman game. Robert Pattinson looks very unbelievable in the costume though. He just doesn't look right. I was very wary when he was cast and I've seen nothing since that improves my opinion of him. In fact, the same can be said for EVERY casting choice from this new movie. If that's the Batman theme playing in that clip, then that's just another disappointment for me with regards to this movie. Boring as fuck. Batman Forever is one of the worst movies ever made and even that had a better Batman theme. As far as I'm concerned, the Danny Elfman theme is the quintessential Batman theme and should be in every Batman movie similar to how the James Bond theme is in every Bond movie. Same goes for John Williams Superman theme in Superman movies.

kpowers said: I deserve better You've had a bad run recently. Ben Affleck could have been the best portrayal of you since Kevin Conroy but Warner Bros fucked that up. Personally, I don't think there should be any more Batman movies. They should do a live action TV series instead. And I'm not talking about the kind of low budget shows like Arrow and Supergirl. A big budget show along the lines of The Mandalorian or the upcoming MCU shows. Cast Oscar Isaac as Batman and get Paul Dini on as writer/showrunner.

As long as it's not a Greg Berlanti production, he ruins TV series. I don't think the budget is the problem with Arrow and Supergirl (though bigger budget wouldn't hurt). Casting is a big problem with those shows. For Supergirl I wouldn't have cast her in the part, and I know how you feel about Superman (me too). Supergirl is also getting to PC and preachy. Batwoman is good but they are really really really pointing out that Batwoman is a lesbian. For Arrow, yeah the actor they got to play him is good as well as the actor for Red Arrow, the rest of the cast...ehhh. Also it's like they try very hard not to cast a sexy woman to play Black Canary. Arrow should have focus on Green Arrow and Black Canary (Red Arrow too). Wouldn't mind if Gotham (TV series) evolved into Batman. I wouldn't cast Oscar Issac as Batman, just don't see it. I liked him in Star Wars though. [Edited 2/20/20 12:36pm]

[Edited 2/20/20 12:36pm] Oscar Isaac has the required jawline and he's a big enough name for his casting to make headlines but not too big to take a role in television. That was my reasoning for choosing him. Jon Hamm would be another good choice but he might be a bit old now. Unless the show is about a veteran Batman. But if they're going down that route they might as well do a live action Batman Beyond with Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne and an unknown actor as Terry McGinnis.

I think they should cast an unknown who looks the part to play Batman, kinda like Brandon Routh as Superman

I felt weird about Batman-Pattinson, but now... Well, I need to see it first to draw a conclusion. Not that I'm expecting much, but who knows. About costume, I haven't seen much to say it is satisfactory or not, to my mind.

There's a few little videos doing the rounds online which shows the suit in more detail. And it looks absolutely awful. Cheap as fuck. But I also seen a quote from the director of the movie saying that this is only the first part of a trilogy so we won't be getting the "proper" Batsuit until one of the sequels. So the Batsuit we get in this is supposed to look a bit crap. There's also rumours that he won't have a Batmobile either. The videos I mentioned earlier all have him on a motorcycle so there could be some truth in that "no Batmobile" rumour. I suppose we'll have to wait and see. I just hope they don't go with a stupid looking tank like they had in the Nolan movies.

I'm keeping an open mind and I like the suit fine. The mask on the other hand, I don;t know about that one, but If he gets white eyes then I'm all for it. By now there are more than enough vrsions of Batman so there's one for everyone.

Me too I really like Michael Keaton's Batman. But that came out in the year 1BE (Before Emma). I suppose, technically speaking, I was alive when Batman Returns came out in the year 2AE (After Emma) but I was only 2.

Yeah not quite sure about Batinson - hopefully Edward leaves his mask on for a large portion of this movie. I'm afraid of Americans. I'm afraid of the world.

Much to my surprise, Affleck nailed the Dark Knight perfectly in BvS, better than Bale & Keaton. The warehouse scene was the best ever in a live action Batman film. Reminded me of how Batman was portrayal in Frank Miller's classic graphic novel. But WB fucked shit up and ruined the character in Justice League.
WB should just give up with the DCEU. They went about it the wrong way. At least they did a good job with the MonsterVerse.

WB should just give up with the DCEU. They went about it the wrong way. At least they did a good job with the MonsterVerse. The director's cut version of the warehouse scene was especially great because the blood was censored in the theatrical cut. It adds so much to the scene when it was reinstated for the DVD. The whole scene comes across as so much more brutal because of it. Apparently they based that scene off the fighting in the Arkham videogames. A lot of limb-breaking. Punches that would leave you in a coma. Great stuff.

Just saiyn.... Nah. It will be a generic PG-13 action film with shit visual effects and a shoddy script. Basically, typical modern DC movie. There's pictures of the Batmobile going around now. It just looks like a regular car with red lights on the back of it. At least it matches the suit though with how cheap it looks. Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne joked that his super power was that he's rich. By the looks of the suit and Batmobile, Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne is broke as fuck 😂
