CBS offers Star Trek Picard for FREE

kpowers should like this:

Patrick Stewart announces offer for free month of CBS All Access.

https://www.joblo.com/mov...all-access

The season finale airs tomorrow night, so this is a change to binge the whole season at no cost. The message follows:

Our #StarTrekPicard season finale is Thursday, and starting today until 4/23, you can watch for free on @CBSAllAccess in the US with the code: GIFT. https://t.co/i2IfFQN3I8

I have mixed feelings about the season so far. It's been a lot of fun with plenty of callbacks for old fans but still has that "fake Star Trek" vibe that Discovery and the latest movies have had. And they say the fuck-word even more than on Discovery which is just so wrong for Star Trek. Regardless, it's absolutely worth checking out for all Star Trek fans, especially Next Generation fans. And now it's free. biggrin wink

And you can even catch up on Discovery Season 1-2 and the Short Treks if you haven't seen them yet. So, yay! Something to do while stuck at home.

Since it's free CBS should just play it on CBS on Saturday Nights since they usually just play repeats of their cop shows.

Very WRONG! It tops my list of gripes... confused

Rumors are that Patrick Stewart wanted it to be like Logan. Saying fuck alot does not achieve that goal.

Never seen Logan so how would that apply to Star Trek Picard?

Everybody, including Professor X, said "fuck. A lot. Which was fine. It was an R rated Wolverine movie. This is STAR TREK. On TV.

"Double dumb ass" on them!!

Garbage show. Acting is basic, and script is trash. The friends in a cabin episode was good, at least. Needs a complete overhaul for season 2, writing wise. Just don't care about any of the principals, and can't believe they actually turned Picard the character into an utter shell of himself. And then shit on the shell.

Well, I suppose somebody might enjoy it. I didn't. D+. I actually started enjoying Discovery, btw. Started rough but hit some good plot lines.

Yeah that is the downfall of the more recent projects. Discovery is my least favorite series and I'm half way through season 2. I've mention my gripes about it before. I'm really tired of no stability of the characters. We are on season 2 and we have no real Captain of Discovery, just fake imposters. Pike is just a temp for now. The Doctor role is fucked up big time. Didn't care for Dr. Culber, found him boring. He dies, then they bring in a background replacement Doctor. Then Culbert comes back from the dead...........yawn. Don't care Tyler character being a Klingon which seems so far fetched and yet some how they keep finding flimsy excuses to bring him back to Discovery. I do like Saru, Burham and Tilly that's about it, the rest of the cast..............ehh. The show is called Discovery and so far I'm not seeing much of that. Want them exploring and not these year long story lines. Just a bad approach, feels like the same people who made the Justice League movies are behind this series.
