I'm loving how they are speeding things up this season. A raven is sent and received within 3 minutes to its destination whereas in season's past, it would take a couple of episodes! lol

Anywho, I'm so excited about the meeting with Jon and Daenerys next week.....but what will happen with he and Davos see the Red woman there?

After giving Sansa power as the Queen of the North (in the interim), I'm not sure she will relinquish it when/or if Jon comes back to Winterfell.

Littlefinger needs to go.

Theon needs to go.

Cersei needs to go.

So they reunite us with Hot Pie but where the hell is Gendry??????

Tyrion reminded me so much of Tywin when he laid out the strategy war plan...but how will they salvage the monkey wrench that Euron Greyjoy threw in their plans? hmmm

excited

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Game Of Thrones’ Opening Credits May Have Revealed Secret Twist About The White Walkers

The moment doesn’t appear in the opening for the Season 6 finale, just in the Season 7 premiere.

It may hint that the Wall isn’t going to fall after all. The White Walkers are going to walk around it. That’s what people are theorizing, anyway.

There’s just one problem: The Wall is definitely gonna fall. There’s been too much foreshadowing.

In an interview with HuffPost, Samwell himself (Bradley), told us there’s “no wasted line on ‘Game of Thrones.’”

In the same interview, Bradley told us, “If you think you saw something, you probably did see something.” But he added, “It may not be what you thought you saw.”

Cersei won the week and the Night King continues to win the War.

Yara, Ellaria, and Tyene are in for it, but Dany was the big loser of the week, her too-clever-by-half plan having been broken in two by Euron. On the other hand, had they all sailed for King's Landing , Euron stood a chance of wiping her whole army out before they landed.

The Tarlys are becoming more important than ever. Lord Tarly is the pivot point in the South, and his choice between House Lannister and House Tyrell could decide the battle for the throne. Meanwhile, Sam maybe-possibly cures Jorah's Greyscale. This could lead Jorah back to Khalessi, and a key mediator between her and the North.

Sansa takes the reins from Jon, who's headed to meet Dany finally. Will Jon still be King when he returns? Should he have ended Littlefinger in the crypt?

Arya's headed home; will Bran follow?

The MVPs of S7 so far: The Ravens!!!!

Still, Jon, Davos and Sandor seem to be the only non-Wildlings south of the Wall who understand what's coming. As long as Westeros isn't on the same page, the Night King stays winning.

Heck, I think the opening credits give away the endgame.

Here is something that has been bothering me --- when will everyone stop ignoring the fact (it seems) Jon is a deserter? Tyrion actually mentioned him joining the Night's Watch in this new episode, but did not bother to ask Melisandre why he is now King in the North.

I keep wondering why it isn't even acknowledged. I mean it's been this excessive strict law for centuries and suddenly nobody seems to remember it.

I mean even Sam is moving about freely, but I think he had a letter from Jon gettting permission to be where he is.

Jon's NOT a deserter. He was killed by his own men. His death fulfilled his oath to the Black Watch. He was free to leave after he was revived. Recall he said after he passed sentence over the traitors, "my watch has ended." No one at Castle Black or in the North disagreed.

Melisandre's really slick. She wants Jon to tell Dany and Tyrion that he was raised from the dead . . . by her. She knows Davos was a witness, and likely presumes he'll be with Jon when he gets to Dragonstone Dany -- who's walked through fire -- won't have that hard of a time believing it.

Oh, I know, and I definitely agree with you, but the show has not made this clear at all. How does everyone outside the Watch and the Wildlings know/believe he was actually resurrected? For such an important scene, at the moment it just seems...forgotten.

Regarding Melisandre, I would agree with you again, but it does not really help with my thoughts about Tyrion. Heck, Dany or Varys did not bother to ask either. It just seems weird to me... I guess they just could be saving it for a scene like your post, though.

They left it to that one line last season, "my watch has ended." I agree they should have explained it better. But I think it also got lost in the craziness of a full-blown resurrection of a major character.

You're right. All 3 of them usually are far more inquisitive than that. Especially Tyrion. That may have been a plothole that the writers left there because if Tyrion asked why Jon was now the King in the North, and Melisandre told him, Tyrion would have blown her off, and Dany and Varys would have followed suit. They left that "hanging chad" there for a big reveal next week.

SPEAKING OF GENDRY -- the opening sequence may have given a lot away about him from the very beginning. That's my theory, anyway . . .

Hot Pie from Game of Thrones has swapped his career in the show to embark on a business venture in real life by opening an online bakery… called, wait for it, ‘You Know Nothing John Dough’.

Clapton told Uproxx:

We had a lot of discussions about does the cape give him presence or is it better to not have that presence? What are we trying to say? There are times when we removed it because we wanted him to be more vulnerable. Especially I think, when he saw Dany, and he went to see her for the first time in her chamber. We decided to remove it, but then when he went to see Cersei, we put it on.

We might have to wait til 2019 for the final season?

Season 8 is supposed to start filming September 2017, but as for air dates, nothing is certain. When asked whether the final season could air in 2018, or even 2019, Bloys simply said, "Yeah."

We may have to wait until spring 2019, but we waited over a year for S7.
