I am currently finishing up my rewatch to get ready for the new season. I just finished "The Mountain and the Viper" and it never fails to send chills down my spine...

I wanted to rewatch the six seasons before the seventh season opening, but unfortunately i won't be able to do that; i'm just about to finish the first season.

You waited too long. I don't know if you get HBO but a few weeks ago they re-ran every episode from season 1. I only caught the last 2 episodes of season 6 which at least reminded me where we left off. It was badassed to see the dragons in action. Watch at least the last episode.

I know, too long. I'll be watching the last episode of season six. Love the show so much.

I've been Team Stark from the get-go, but I'm wary going into this season.

Petyr Baelish has Sansa Stark's ear, and wants more than that . . . he wants the Iron Throne and her hand in marriage to cement his claim to it. He's going to do his best to drive a wedge between Sansa and Jon. And there's a good chance he'll succeed.

Arya has become a terrifyingly ruthless killer. That makes her a wild card.

Disunity could destroy them.

I did not remember at all that Cersei didn't agree with the killing of Ned Stark. That was Joffrey's call not hers.

Overall, I thought that was a very promising start. It was a little slow in places, but it has set up a lot for what is to come. The scenes with The Hound/The Brotherhood were my favorites.

Will watch later, can't wait! But, it wouldn't be GoT if it wasn't starting slow (and annoying me with that).

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

I also thought Euron was an improvement compared to last season, although I am still not completely sold on him.

I enjoyed the first episode of the new season. I read online that some fans felt that it was too slow paced....in my mind, the pace is right on time. Every episode can't be explosive or shocking. Especially being that this season is going to be extremely short at 7 episodes....until the final season next year. I'm appreciating every second of it.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I think the pacing allowed the dialogue and characters much more room to breathe. That was a very refreshing change after S5 and S6.

Damn, Jorah lookin' rough, yo!

Team Kahleesi, here. Not a fan of Euron at all, but this is gonna get interesting with him and Cersei. Now now, everything's gonna be alright, Jaime. Maybe.

I think the slow pace left for a nice setup. Tension between Sansa and Jon. Tension between Jaime and Cersi. As she slips into madness. Slipped rather. You have a setup where Sansa's warning to Jon can bite him in the azz. A weakness at the wall. The setup for the meeting of Jon and Danys. Who are Cersi's sparrows she knows everything that's going on, and why was she walking on the map while the guy was still painting it? And Dragonstone, wow, it's massive. Sad realizing not a Baratheon is left, well except save one but it's hard to know if that's going to be ignored. Will Arya pay a price for her vengence? She's technically stolen from someone she should never steal from. Her vengence was good though. And Danys acting doesn't bother me, she stoic and mystical, she's working things out inside her head, she's not supposed to be all animated and coming with quick-witted one-liners.

"So here I am with a thousand ships, and two good hands" lol

What do you think Euron has up his sleeve for Cersei? I am really hoping it will be a Dragon horn...
