Rate the last movie you watched

Elysium
(2013) - Set in the year 2154, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.

It's not as good as District 9. I agree with the earlier review that said it's more enjoyable when you don't think too much about it. star star star 1/2 (out of five)

Bunny and the bull - Can't really give a rating but this was really funny, a little sad. I liked it very much! And the production is great, very nice set ideas, looking kind of like a children theater piece.

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

"Blue Jasmine" -- The new Woody Allen flick that is a sort of remix of "A Streetcar Named Desire." Cate Blanchett is MAGNIFICENT in a can't-take-your-eyes-off-her kind of way. The thing that was amazing is that I could see her "work" as an actress but it in know way diminished the character. I just couldn't get enough of seeing her perform in every scene. Got to be an Oscar contender...

5 stars!

We're the Millers 7.5 / 10 Pretty good comedy.Enjoyable.

Now You See Me 7 / 10 Solid enough movie but was expecting more. I thought some of the magic scenes were a bit unbelievable

Star Trek:Into Darkness 8.5 / 10 Much better than I thought it would be.Kept my interest throughout the movie

It was more enjoyable that I expected.

I didn't expect much because I couldn't see how the original could be continued without alot of "schtick".

The "schtick" was there...but handled decently.

If you liked the original, you'll probably like this one. If you loved the original, you will definitely love this one. If you didn't like the first, you'll utterly HATE this one.

Temptation Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.jpg

Temptation 2/5 Overly simplified. I think I get where he's trying to go which is cool but the themes are just far too simple. The people were nice to look at.

Oz The Great and Powerful 2/5 Sorry I got bored. It was very pretty.

Fruitvale Station (2013) - The purportedly true story of Oscar Grant III, a 22-year-old Bay Area resident, who crosses paths with friends, enemies, family, and strangers on the last day of 2008.

I can't comment on the movie's accuracy concerning the actual events, but the story that was presented on screen is heartbreaking. star star star star 1/2

I saw lee Daniels The Butler last week and it was GREAT!!!Forest Whitaker will win the Oscar for best Actor next year and I hope Oprah will win best supporting actress for playing a very believable drunk..I'm gonna see it again before it leaves the theatre...There are decades that flashes by and you really need to see it twice for the things you missed...

Sommarlek / Summer Interlude (1951) - While waiting for the night rehearsal of the ballet Swan Lake, the lonely twenty-eight year-old ballerina Marie recalls her first love Henrik.

Darker than I expected, but still a very pleasant story. star star star star

I haven't seen it and it will probably leave the theaters soon. It has gotten Lots of Oscar buzz. Do you feel Jordan gave an Oscar worthy performance? Critics also say Octavia deserves another Oscar nomination/win for Supporting actress...

Wow....I thought "The Wolverine" was good but You thought it was BETTER than Origins? Are you basing it on the plot, the Villains or both? Jean Grey's constant bedroom nagging didn't get on your nerves?

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the worst X-Men movie ever so almost anything would have been an improvement.

Blue Jasmine (2013) - A life crisis causes a vapid and narcissistic socialite to head to San Francisco, where she tries to reconnect with her sister.

Great cast. Cate Blanchett overdoes it at times, but then again, how do you act crazy without going a little overboard? star star star star

Relative to Monika, no. He was clearly made out to be the more sympathetic character getting into trouble because of her.
