Can you name your single favourite movie? ...can you narrow it down to one....

...or is it just too darn tough to choose? www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

Brief Encounter. Early David Lean, based on a Noel Coward play. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

"Animal House". I think it's the best movie ever made.

One single movie....
Can't do it. I like certain movies for different reasons and I tend to catagorize my films based on a several factors.

I couldn't even make a list of TEN movies I would buy on blu-ray if I collected movies to keep.
My kid asked me the other day if Elf is my favourite movie, I told him it's on my list of the 9 movies I could think of. So then he said which one IS your favourite and I told him maybe it's Elf - he got mad with me. I was like dude, my 2 answers aren't contradictory or anything, you're 12 years old WTF do you know!
it's probably not my all time favourite movie, but it's the only one I bothered to convert to iPhone size
me and the kids tried some maple syrup on our dinners I'm the mistake you wanna make

That one makes me like a baby.
Of course, mine (Brief Encounter) does, too. But for different reasons. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Some classics here!! Always good taste on the Org
Blade Runner...superb. The Rutger Hauer speech at the end always brings a lump to my throat.
Enter the Dragon; forgot how good that is, haven't seen it ages though.
Animal House...yesss! Love the bit when Bluto smashes the dudes guitar. Elf though....massive Ferrell fan but Elf annoys me too much....not a big fan of the sickly sweet Xmas movies. And Alice, what a good call!

I use to love that movie now I can't watch it. Its my fault really, when different networks aired the movie a 100 times before Christmas day my dumbass watched it EVERY time. So now I can't watch Its A Wonderufl Life and I've become totally desensitized... couldn't cry if I wanted to.

The Godfather I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Let me help you. The best Jane Eyre is Orson Welles/Joan Fontaine, and the best A Star is Born is Fredric March/Janet Gaynor. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

A Star I Born... I'm gonna have to go with the James Mason/Judy Garland.
