I don't think many people realize how groundbreaking this thing was.

It's horrific from beginning to end.

Magnificant. It used to scare the shit out of me.

I also love:

1. Raiders of the Lost Ark

2. The Sound of Music

3. Forest Gump

4. Indian Summer

It's darned close, but I think this...

...slightly edges out this...

πρὸς ὀλίγον ἐστὶ τὸ ζῆν
τὸ τέλος ὁ χρόνος ἀπαιτεῖ.”

I just watched this again since I saw it as your pick. Of course I am a huge Woody fan. I can't say it's my favorite, but it's good. On Netflix they described it as a take on Alice in Wonderland. That gives the title a bit more depth, but I am not sure I can really see it as analagous to Alice in Wonderland. Whatever, I enjoyed it. shrug

I understood its possible personal appeal to you, however, in the last few minutes. I love how they are gossiping about her but it's all complements.

Hedwig And The Angry Inch.

its about trying to find yourself. About loving yourself, before loving someone else, regardless of how you are. I believe this movie is not film to be taken lightly just becuase it happens to be also a musical, i think because its a musical and love story about yourself it should be seen as it a form of expression of self acceptance.

symphosis for thos who have not seen this movie

the story of east berlin musician "Hedwig" journey to stardom. I wont say more because i don't want to ruin the movie but check it out, warning those who are sensitive to issues of LGBT, which you should not be, but alas some people will not like this film, their lost really.
