Aww! I felt old thinking about that song, though. I think it was 1993 when I first heard it when K.D. won like....four times at some award show, and that's when I got hooked on that song. My cousin was either a newborn or yet to be born at that point.

She commented on my crazy ass with Xs and Os and called me funny. I beamed for an hour. It's the little things that keep Lady happy.

Except for my afro. Got a mind of its own, I swear. It was time to wash my hair anyway. I was 100% irritated, though. It truly does get flat on one side.

Note to self, stop tasting the powdered sugar while you bake.

Thank goodness for the internet I hated Mexican food and never really knew nothing about it until I started surfing. Don't know many Mexcian folks... wish I did.

The food they try to call "Mexican" up here is completely gross and usually cooked by Koreans.

Now I am discovering real Mexican food and its divine! Avocados were always a staple in my Rican household but the Mexicans know how to dress it up!
