I wish they would have bought in a rebounding power forward. It is still beyond me

why the hell they traded one of their better rebounders earlier this year when

they traded Mareese Speights to Memphis.

when Lin ran the Dantoni offense, and melo wasn't in the lineup, the knicks were fun to watch.

I have since stopped watching. they are back to being selfish players

Maybe Melo just wasn't a good fit for Dantoni's offense. Let's see how he responds

with the interim coach.

For most of that stretch the Knicks were playing scrubby teams. What happened when 'Linsanity' went up against Rajon Rondo, Tony Parker, Lou Williams and Derrick Rose? The league caught up to him and the kid got exposed. You don't center your offense around an average point guard who's still learning on the job. You adjust - you put your stars in the best position to make plays like they do in Miami, Chicago, LA, OKC, etc. When Pat Riley came to the Knicks, he knew better than to run Showtime. Pringles refused to adjust. He kept trying to fit square pegs in round holes. He even had to be forced by Knick management to hire a defensive coach(Woodson).

D'Amdummy should never have been hired to begin with. He's a stubborn, overrated, gimmick 'coach' like Don Nelson. I'm SO glad he's done - let him take his friggin' 'sissyball' back to the west coast. Knick fans were popping champagne all over NYC. The 'Linmaniacs' are upset, but they're not hardcore Knick fans but bandwagoners. Winning cures all, and NY blew out a good Pacer team tonight with balanced scoring. Woodson is going back to a more traditional offense, making Amar'e & Carmelo the focal points. Now it's on them to make it work.

It's not the first time a star player and his coach didn't see eye-to-eye. Magic, Bird, Jordan, Ewing - they pulled the same thing. Did they get the same hate Anthony's getting now?

Three wins in a row and two over a good Pacer team. It's nice to finally see a Knick coach hold players accountable when they slip up on defense.

Some think they were tanking to get D'Antoni fired. Peapole were calling this guy a bad coach, when he took the Suns twice to the Western Conference Finals.

A team with Melo, Amare, Chandler, Davis, JR Smith and Lin should not have been 18-24 the day D'Antoni was fired.

Pringles was a big reason the Knicks were sub - .500. He refused to adapt his system to the talent.

They were at .500 at one point during the Lin streak.

Sorry Amare!

^^^ Re-read reply #129. Believe me, hardcore Knick fans are happy Pringles is gone. He was a bad fit for NY. Hiring him was a bad move by Donnie Walsh.

Saturday night against the Pacers, Woodson called a timeout and ripped into his team after a lapse on defense. D'Amdummy would have waited until the Knicks were down 15.
