THIS is an example of the kind of dress I look VERY BAD in

round neckline, on this model, there is enough fabric in the bust to look nicely wrinkled, but on me, around the bust, stretched TIGHT mad

That chiffon material doesn't stretch, so I can't fit into any of the examples Erin posted cry

sad

But what about something like this, if it had V neck or possibly buttons (to make room for your ample mammaries drool)

I have 3 dresses nearly just like this actually lol but I only wear them with a cardigan, scarf and sometimes with leggings - I look short and wide in just the dress, see below.

I like the longer sleeves on the one you posted better than the dresses I have.

I don't think you look wide at all. neutral

If anything in relation to looking short (only because you say you do), I do think the strap going across cuts the line of your leg (but not a lot). Especially since they are flat. See the shoes they have with the dress with the V continues the leg. I don't know if I'm writing this in a way that makes sense but I'm too lazy to rethink and write it differently. lol

I say terrible because the fit makes it look cheap. The sleeves on all of them are just awful. Like, Kmart sells this style. lol

Here are some that I think are more flattering.

And I just like this maxidress. biggrin

That's my favorite. nod

You know what's funny, I see what you mean about the sleeves on the others (I still like those last 2 and the one I posted separately). But the sad part about that is that they weren't even from a cheap site, I think they were from Saks.

I don't know what items or how you put them together or with what, so shrug

I'm not saying it's an absolute rule. I'm just saying the vast majority of folk you see out on the street doing it fail miserably.

A lot of folk wear stuff from teeny places just because they think that if they still fit into it it automatically works and it makes them look young, which is totally wrong. lol

I don't agree at all. Many teens look way worse in teen clothes than many older people who still wear those clothes including me razz !

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I had ballet flats, but anyway, I don't have nice shoes, so I don't need a dress to go with them, problem solved!

whatevs, but fashion designers don't cater for my dimensions, it's not lack of styles that is the issue!

have a look at the sizing chart here:

http://www.bravissimo.com/products/clothing/dresses-and-skirts/bravissimo/tf18-details.aspx?ck=K%2f%2bibL3vZIE%3d

I'm a 10-12 super curvy from this place

I have to wear a 14-16 to fit in the bust unless the fabric is stretchy, but I don't want to wear a dress with tent dimensions on the rest of me!!

this one looks cute....

i could never buy on line.... that could be the prob

some times i spend hours looking and end up with nothing.... i am so out of proportion too - in the boobie area smile , but some how i still find things

its dissapointing when u need to find an outfit for a night out but cant..... that's when i end up at a further away shopping centre, hoping there is something different that catches my eye

all the girls on that site were NOT curvie.... false advertising....

go out shopping and take a friend, not your husband, a girl friend nod

and remember the shoes

this one, if the waistline doesn't sit all up in my bust

http://www.birdsnest.com....n-ss-dress

http://www.birdsnest.com....ess#black1

I'm forever attracted to stuff like this

http://www.birdsnest.com....ched-dress

but on me it always looks yuk

I tried this on
