Hey everybody, I have some good news!
My brother was removed from the ICU today so all of the prayers and well wishes really do help! He still has a feeding tube down his nose because they are worried he will choke if he falls asleep while swallowing (pain meds), but I'm so relieved for a positive sign.
I'm touched by the support and prayers of friends I'll probably never meet, but you'll all forever be with me in my

Hey everyone. Just returned from Charleston after seeing my brother and they are giving him good care. He's still on the feeding tube and has had a few infections, but none that affect his lungs thank God. I told him about the love and prayers that all of you here on the org are sending his way. I don't know if he'll remember what I told him or even that I was there, but at least I got to tell him I love him. The impression I get from the medical staff I spoke with while there is that their main focus is any potential long term effects from his brain injury. I know only time will tell, but his odds have to be good thanks to people like you. I promise I'll never forget your support.

Thanks to everyone for caring and offering support and prayers for my brother. It's going to be a long time before they can determine how much brain damage the accident caused, but he is making slow progress.
You'll are the ones that were there when my parents and friends weren't around for me to lean on. Who could ask for more? My brother is alive because it wasn't his time to go, and people like you took the time to say a prayer.
