What does a man really WANT from a woman?

In no specific order.....

1. a companionship.

2. sex.

3. a homecook meal.

4. a "help meek" (a partner that also makes money).

5. the ability the have children for her man.

EDIT: #5 is optional for some.

Agreed with one and two. Three I'm willing to do 50/50 or more on my end if she sucks at cooking. Four is definitely a plus, I'm not trying to be someone's meal ticket. Five I wouldn't hold a woman to since I can no longer have any myself. In fact, I prefer she already came with kids believe it or not.

guys are homebodies, they LOVE "home"

they want to feel at home, they want a safe haven from the world

a woman CAN do it for them (a lot of guys can manage very well on their own)

(but I do think they rely a little bit too much on the woman to do it all FOR them

hmmm just like their mummies)

men are pretty insecure, about all sorts of stuff, a woman's feedback (verbal or non-verbal) can make everything all right. I guess you call that support.

You're brave. Not all men are interested in becoming instant stepfathers right away.

I love home when I am single, not so much when I am not. That's probably backwards of me.

Thanks. But I rather her not resent me later when she decides she wants children and I can't give them to her.

I think that if a man leaves it all to the woman, it ceases to be his OWN home, it's like he is a visitor never doing anything right.

Well damn. neutral

I am a beast in the sheets, make a decent salary, and can cook my ass off, but #5... about that.

If that's a deal breaker, then the man you speak of is missing out on a good woman. sad

I think you can scrap the one about having kids....that's only for some men, not all.

I can't stand kids, and I only see them as a drain on your time and finances. Might sound a bit cold, but that's how I see it. I'm not paternal. Fortunately, my wife feels the same way so we're happy just focusing on ourselves.

Other than that, fairly spot on. Think you could add "shared vision" to that, someone who shares your outlook on life, including similar goals, similar sense of right and wrong, etc

At least you're honest. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. IMO, there are too many folks having kids that shouldn't.

Don't get it twisted. A man in general wants to have a son and/or a daughter.

Why is a woman having an income such a top priority?

Make sme kinda sad. What happened to the days where the woman takes care of the household and the man brings home the bacon????

Fuck this working shit. I'm glad I'm done in December. It's for the birds.

To each his own, but I MYSELF feel like less of a woman now that I'm working.

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

I knew it would get peoples panties in a bunch.

I admire women who work hard and take care of themselves and pay their own bills. I really do.

It's just not for me. lol

I'd rather be at home in the kitchen.

hmm

I don't believe that. You might be frustrated with a situation or circumstances right now, but I don't believe that working makes you feel less of a woman for one second. Think of the self-esteem working has given you, being able to provide for your children, etc. I can't think of anything more womanly than being a good mother, which means taking care of your kids in every way you can providing an income to do so as needed.

As a preference and life choice that's fine. There are all kinds of people who would choose that for themselves and there's nothing wrong with that.

But making you less of a woman? Don't think so.

you're totally gonna catch shit for that lol

but I've known women that felt the same

maybe feeling like less of a woman is a bit strong

but they were certainly happier

and felt more fulfilled at home

How is it you feel?
