Oh, yeah, and how can I forget the biggest cry-fest for me as a teen--the scene where Barbra sings "One More Look At You" in A Star Is Born. (Sob, Sob...)

"I want Champ!!!" I remember seeing this movie at the cinema, and everybody in the audience was literally sobbing watching this scene. I hope Ricky got an award; that scene was very well acted. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

ernestsewell said: It's a romantic idea to cry at a movie evoking enough emotion that you weep during the movie at some point, but how realistic is it?
I ask because I DVR'd The Reader and watched it last night. I wasn't sure what it was about, or what to expect. For some reason, it got me emotional. It was such a great movie. For anyone who hasn't seen it, I'd highly recommend it. Do you cry at a movie? What movie(s) have evoked that kind of emotion from you? ... if it's a emotionally moving movie, then yes, I have. Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

Another scene that makes me bawl my eyes out while watching. This scene from the movie "My Girl".
"Where are his glasses? He can't see without his glasses on. Put his glasses on! Put on his glasses! He was going to be an astronaut!" "He's gone, sweetheart." This scene always makes me cry! It's sooo touching and sad. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

The beginning of Up caught me by surprise though Color Purple ALWAYS makes me cry...and I too, was taken by surprise when I watched "UP", choked me right up. Proud Memaw to Seyhan Olivia Christine ,Zoey Cirilo Jaylee & Ellie Abigail Lillian

The Bridges of Madison County not only makes me cry, it leaves me feeling depressed and hopeless for a day or so after I've watched it
The real question is why do I still feel compelled to watch it every time it's shown There is a crack, a crack in everything - that's how the light gets in.

Another scene that always makes me tear up is at the end of "The Wizard of Oz", when Dorothy is saying goodbye to The Tin Man, The Scarecrow and The Cowardly Lion. It always chokes me up, for some reason. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I get emotional at films that shouldn't make you emotional. It's bizarre. It's very few and far between though, luckily, but last time (and I'm soooo no proud of this), I started blubbing at Rugrats the movie whilst watching it with my 5 year old niece! She turned and looked at me like I was weird, and went back to watching the film.
A fecking cartoon! FFS! sad but true blah blah blah

A fecking cartoon! FFS! sad but true It's been happening to me lately as well! It's this oversensitive condition I found myself in... But a cartoon! I'm a grown man. I don't cry. Even when I stub my little toe! I just growl and swear under my breath... Then the rugrat's dog dies and they make a wish for it to come back and I'm booing like a baby. Funny how different things can effect different people blah blah blah
