Don't currently own a working one, but probably will again shortly.

Is the Bimmer not running, or did you sell it?

I was at the BMV last week to put a new plate on mine, and they said it'll qualify for a "historic vehicle" plate in 2012.

It's not running. Headgasket failed. I SHOULD sell it, I absolutely cannot afford to fix it, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet. I love the damn thing. bawl

This is all your fault, btw. tease

Oh, and I bought an old Toyota Corolla from my boss. It's a fuckin' automatic. It sucks. I'm used to a car reading my mind, not considering its options. mad

But it was a great deal, and I need to live like the broke mf that I am. pout

For solid transportation, a Corolla is one of the best cars out there. The one my dad owned was incredibly reliable, and it might still be alive today had my brother not totalled it. (And that was accident #3 for that car.)

I also think this is a good time to buy one because of the mass hysteria about Toyotas, and people are trying to dump them.

they still ride horses through your town? wow. that's amazing. I love horses. I used ride a Palimino gilding every day after school when I was a girl. The horse was trained parade horse. wasn't mine just pastured there. so I got to ride it. I havent been around horses in a long time. That horse saved my life once. something you never forget.

Soooo... what kind of pulling team? do you mean clydsdale?

btw...what kind of motorcycle do you ride? I think those are awesome. I don't have a license for a motorcycle. Actually I can't even say I know how to drive one. I dated a couple guys (at different times of course) that each owned a bike. Big fun to go riding. And in this economy .... GREAT on gas too! smile

Drove a championship dirt bike once. Once was enough for me. kept getting mixed up on how the gears go and kept downshifting ... popped a wheely or two
went flying off into the desert .... nearly killed myself. I was trying NOT to lay it down. But ... finally it got to the point .. it was me or the bike.
The bike lost. lol. I never did that again.

funny a palimino saved your lfe and mine is named Hannible lol /ride just a yamaha off road/you dont need a licence to ride on private land and its the best for trail riding in the mountains/ it is still legal to ride horses in town-mostly for training purposes/ my team is comprised of 2 rescued paso finos/but every fall we have charriot races in full costume-4horses fresian teams(coal black)/OMG it is so sexy/ you sound adventurous and smart-im surprised you arent getting back on that motorcycle

funny a palimino saved your lfe and mine is named Hannible lol

whoa.... uh, that's quite a paradox in a funny kind of way. lol I see what you mean. lol.
But they are great horses... are they not? Just wonderful temperament, intellect, strength, beauty and grace ... just fabulous horses. imho
The one I rode was about 16 hands high as I recall.

btw..question if I may? what inspired the name of your Palimino? The character in the movie silence of the lambs? or the character in history?

training purposes?

Charriot races! WOW. in full costume? dbl WOW! Oooooo yeah.... now that sounds exciting...and exotic.
I'd like to see that! That must be Awesome!.

you sound adventurous and smart-im surprised you arent getting back on that motorcycle

why thank you smile
nothing wrong with a little adventure in life ...is there? ; > As far as getting on another dirt bike.... well I'd be more likely to jump into another Ultra-light ... (which are big fun. I've got a funny story about the Ultra-light) but I'd be more likely to jump in one of those first before I'd jump on another dirt bike.

But never say never as they say.

I suppose if I found one that was more of a perfect fit, then sure I'd try it again..why not?
The Championship dirt bike I rode last time...(which was also my first time) was just too high off the ground for me and actually a little too heavy for me that's why I ended up having to lay it down.

4 wheelin' is cool... off roading ... and ATV's are big fun. shoot out here folks will even take a golf cart off roading .. LOL. some of them have a suspension system that's just out of this world. It's kind of funny to see, but looks awesome.
this is the time of the first fast.

Well, my boss made me a great deal on it. And yeah, as you may recall, I used to own one, and it was very reliable.

But it's NOT FUN TO DRIVE. mad

:gasp: likes killing dogs? whoaaa.... nah you didn't mention that. I like to ride a horse with spirit but ... I've never seen that in a horse before.
Did a dog abuse him at one time? Try to nip at his hoofs maybe? You know how some dogs will do a horse.

I've been bucked off plenty of times ... mostly by shetlens (sp?) I don't care ride shetlens. I rode a horse that like to kick out to a full gallop then change up...throw his head down while coming to a screeching halt. lol.
I've seen some awnry horses from time to time. But ...never saw a dog killer.
I guess the name Hannibel suits your horse pretty well then. LOL

If I may ..... How old is that horse and how long have you had him?
