I've never heard of a Jeep Compass. Is that it in the picture? If so, I like it!

I got mine at 17. I'm embarrassed to say how many times I failed my driver's test. I was just too anxious to get my license, knowing that technically I wasn't quite ready. On top of that, I had to try out in my brother's Jeep. I hated driving SUVs back then....still don't really care to drive them to this day. I should've just practiced more and saved myself the failed tests and embarrassment. It'd be hell if I had to try out in the UK. I wouldn't even attempt over there. lol I drive an older Corolla....it's been through a few fender benders, so time's almost up for it. I'm really amazed at the life of Toyotas, but I'm looking to start making payments on a Jetta or Passat soon. Most likely a Jetta. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Ours is gently used also. We do not do car payments anymore. It's the way to go IMO. At least for us. Kias are nice. We considered one. Honey just worked out for us and luckily fell within our budget. [Edited 3/14/10 20:03pm]

I have neither car nor license and I never will.
Why? -Driving is incredibly dangerous. I know more people who have been involved in everything from minor mishaps to full-blown accidents than I do people who haven't. -Cars are a massive expense. First there is the cost to purchase or lease, then insurance, then the fee for a license, then maintenance. And let's not forget gas! -The environmental impact of the auto industry is one of the modern world's worst sins. -There are a lot of people on the road who very obviously should not be driving. -Cars are for most people a want and not really a need. Most people who do drive either don't actually need to drive as much or as often as they do, or they don't need to drive at all. -Driving enables laziness. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

No I don't have a licence. If I was living in another country I would probably have one, but it does not make a lot of sense to me here. I might get one maybe one day though. With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I don't get your last point; laziness?, you mean those "road freaks" (no offence) who usually drive around (during hours) just for the heck of it? [Edited 3/15/10 5:28am]
