Another question:

when you do a reading, do you incorporate ideas and concepts you've gained from other decks? For example, on my first deck, the empress is depicted as having plants for arms. Flowers are growing as her limbs. On another deck, the Empress is depicted as a strong ruling character, but sans foliage.

When working with the deck without the foliage for arms, would it make sense to incorporate some of the ideas I gained from that specific card with the flower arms or am I supposed to stick solely to the imagery and ideas presented on one specific deck alone?

I loved the idea of growth from within that wasn't detached but was connected intrinsicly to the person. That is what I got from the Empress from the first deck. I like the idea of buiding on that to interpret this other card to fuller effect.

Last night I was telling my brother about my deck and my nephews were listening. when my brother left, my middle nephew was asking me about the cards and what was on them and I explained how the cards are separated into 5 groups and that the first group has 22 cards, which includes the Zero card.

for some reason he was drawn to The Fool and said "pick that card for me!"

I grabbed a portion of the deck, flipped it over and the card that was there:

I really shouldn't be surprised or taken aback but it startled me that I actually did that!

I was friends with someone who had these 2 warlocks for friends. They used to get high on heroin and then do their magic, spells and witchcraft thank GOD I don't need to get high!

a lot of shamans, witchdoctors, ect...alter their reality when doing magic.

I guess I can see how that would help maybe but honestly, I think it would be scary for me because if this is happening while lucid and sober, what the hell would happen in that other scenario

well, these things are taught from childhood. i wouldn't suggest just scoring some stuff and proceed to do magic.

People depending on Tarot Readings with their lives have no faith inside themselves and usually are the weak minded ones. When a person want to succeed with its life then it means extra hard work and patience. In the end that person can look back with its success of honesty and pride. Faith comes from within and not from a bunch of cards with cartoon pictures.
