The exact same thing happened to me a month ago. My alarm system wasn't working either. I too, broke the hell outta my lease. The house wasn't destroyed. They just took what they wanted including my brand new flat screen. I am still wondering how someone gets away with a washer and dryer in broad daylight.

Anyways,

I am so sorry about what happened. I am glad no one was hurt.

I am so sorry. disbelief A washer & dryer??? eek You would think people would come forward and act like they care. My daughter lives on a busy street and that flat-screen was huge. How did no one see people carrying it out in the daytime? shrug

But on a happy note....balloons present

Awww so cute and funny giggle!
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I'm so sorry this happened. I would think it had to be someone who knew about the birthday party, and yeah the neighbors know something, I doubt that everyone was out that day. I hope they have insurance. They will get over this, but it's going to take time for sure.

Such a sweet birthday party! What a beautiful family you have, just gorgeous! hug

Awww I am sorry to hear that April pat. I can imagine that your daughter does not feel safe anymore sigh. You are right, at least she and her family were not home when it happened and nobody was injured.

I just love the pictures of your family, the kids are adorable love! Somebody told me there will be another one soon shhh biggrin.

hug Oh he did, did he? wink

Thank you too. No, my daughter says she can't even sleep at all. She didn't even go to work today she was so upset. There are two bedrooms in the basement and the kids will not sleep downstairs. sad I don't think they will ever feel safe again.

Here are some more pics. I'm trying to concentrate on the good day. And why they didn't take her new computer (desk-top) I don't know. They did take her laptop though. confused

Sorry to hear about that but you have a beautiful family and they're still safe. So it's a blessing that this happened while they were out. pray

So sorry your beautiful day turned so wrong.
This world is going to hell in a hand basket. We just got new neighbors down the block that I swear sell drugs for a living. Dear god.

Well, the cops say the prints are not in their database. rolleyes My daughter did NOT have insurance. She says she had the application and was about to sign up for it. disbelief Yet they just found a stolen BBQ grill by following a grease trail. It was all over the news. sigh

So her husband says he is taking matters into his own hands. I do not want to know what that even means. whistling boxed confused

Is the "alarm" mentioned in the lease? If so you may have cause to sue the Landlord for negligence!!

I hate frivolous lawsuits as much as the next guy but this would be far from frivolous!!

Yes, the alarm is on the lease. It's part of the condo, not her own personal system. She is looking into a lawsuit. I mean, this is grand larceny here, not a damned BBQ grill. mad

She had to be the lucky one to get a first-time offender. confused
