SEXISM QUESTION: Should men cry to their significant others?

I know the answer is 'yes', so let's get that out of the way.

But what is your own personal knee-jerk reaction to a man crying to you?

I personally find it adorable if a man cries to me, but I could never find myself
crying to him. I rarely cry as it is, let alone to another man. My knee jerk
reaction to it is normally one of discomfort.

But when I'm told men cry readily and openly to their wives,
it's kind of unfortunate and outdated, but I just want
to call them a pussy and make them knit me a sweater. No, seriously.

That being said, I wish dad's cried to their children. American men don't know our fathers. And our fathers seldom know us. We don't cry.

I only saw my dad cry one time. At his dad's funeral.

I have cried in front of a million orgers. I'd be interested to find out how many were totally uncomfortable over it lol

As for a partner, it's not a requirement but someone who can cry to me would be most welcome. Not because they couldn't cope with a small thing but just being openly emotional about real life.

It depends on what you cried about.

If you cried to me cause Madonna wasn't touring in your city, I'm simply going to tune you out.

I swear, at the next Minneapolis invasion, if those hosts decide to make it public and invite me, I'm going to cry my eyes out in front of Anxiety just
to see that bitch do this:

when my significant other cries in front of me, i usually find it helpful to hold a mirror in front of him and yell "LOOK AT THE WHINEY BITCH!", which i know he always appreciates, because it gives him something to REALLY cry about. comfort

great question!

I ASK my partner about his day, stresses, etc.
Let him know I'm here if he wants/needs to let off steam.

Is that the type of crying you're talking about tho? Like OOH I had a shitty day waaaaa???? Cuz that's way gay.

That's not the cryin I'm talkin about.

OH a blowjob or a good fuck help let off steam too. razz

N

O

exclaim

This is one reason I am glad I'm gay because even though evillness thinks it's wrong for a man to cry it's ok for a gay man to cry. I know that people tend not to take a man seriously, straight or gay, if they cry but that is an issue they need to work out and I. don't. own. that. shit.

People think it's a weakness to cry, to me it's my strength.
