When U think about it theres tonnes of things that suck about our main man.

I still have the name change at the top of my list. If he wouldnt have re-signed his contract with Wankers (Warners) at the end of 1992 then he wouldnt have ever needed 2 change his name and ruin his image. Not that he had much choice cuz he wanted 2 do the things he wanted.

But I still wish he wouldnt have done it.

I guess the lawsuits against all those thousands of fansites was pretty damn bad. I still find it hard 2 forgive him 4 that, even if those fans in question were breaking copywright laws.

But 4 me the thing that sucks most is when I found out nearly a year ago that Prince doesnt compose the strings and orchestral arrangements on his songs at all. I thought Prince composed everything himself but when I found out that he left practically all of that 2 Clare Fischer I was gutted.

So gutted in fact I felt betrayed and went off Prince 4 several weeks. It doesnt feel right at all when U hear the beautiful violins on such songs as "Pink Cashmere", "Violet The Organ Grinder" and many others that it isnt from Princes imagination but of someone that I doubt any of us have even seen a picture of.

The music is being forgotten.
What did Warner Bros. gain except they were able to stick it to Prince.

Now we know that when he points his finger its probably got peanut butter and shit on it all messy from being in the kitchen and hes pointing at a roach running around the facility. So in essence, for me, the mystique enigma aspect of Prince being gone is what sucks..

Nothing satisfy a humen being. Back in the day, ppl were complaining about how he won't talk and shit BUT when he came in the late 90's and made all these interviews ppl started to want him as he used to be

Surprised no one's thought to mention how essentially $$$ focused Prince has increasingly become, to the point that the ones who get screwed the most are the very ones that support his very existence. His fams, or whatever he wants to call them. Prince is a fantastic musician but he is also a pretty tight fisted motherfucker. He's the first to admit it too, you just need to listen to him during the mid to late 90s interviews. $$$ play as much importance as the music does nowadays in terms of what and how things get done. I could expand but it's been said often enough before. Things would have been better if someone other than Prince was allowed to take care of the business, so that he could wholeheartedly lose himself in the music once again. Now he's fully aware of all his financial dealings, it's clear he won't relinquish too much control over the purse strings even if it's to the detriment of such things as artistry, commercial acceptance or perhaps the most important thing of all, us, his supporters.

The lawsuits, namechanges, etc...I can accept that,
because there was a point behind them. He finally
has total rights to his music, and that was the main
focal point for those actions.

However, what i think sux most, is...
Why are most things that come out of the P camp so
unorganized and delayed? They write everything so
it's vague as hell. Everything is "last-second" with
them. Like, announcing a party, then cancelling at the
last minute...gotta realize that SOME people may be
making a weekend trip.
Everyone isn't on a "rock-n-roll" schedule, where we can
just pick up and leave. We've gotta be given more notice,
and expect to get what was promised.
I'm not asking for discounts...i'll pay for everything
because i believe that P has unlimited talent and want to
support his efforts, just a little common curtisey would
be appreciated.

What sux most about Prince?

This sucks: the creation of complete and rather rude misconceptions of him by many people who do not even respect him as an artist just because he not the "Average Joe".

The only thing 4 me that sucks is how I'm hesitant 2 tell
people that I listen 2 his music and how he's my favorite
musician.It really depends on the environment.

Something that didn't suck however was a few weeks ago I was
at an Old School Jam concert featuring Sugar Hill,Zapp,Gap
Band, and Teena Marie.During the intermissions they played
Prince music,and only Prince music.They only played his hits
especially early ones,they even played Head and the
people there were singing along.

At that moment I felt comforatble liking Prince and his
music.

Probably the elitist minority of 'fans' who crap on his every move and conveiniently forget the amount of music and tours he's put out year after year after year in comparison to others in the industry, yeah you know the ones baby , the ones that are never satisfied.
