I remember when "Outstanding" came out. At the end of the song Charlie goes: "Girl, you know, you know you knock me out, babe." Well, Vanity 6 was out during this time and I always thought Charlie was doing his version of their "honey, honey, honey..." at the end of "Wet Dream". Hey, I was crazy for the MPLS sound.  | |

ALL OF THEM!!!!
But....OUTSTANDING is one of those songs that will always be in my fiber. From the moment I heard it on the GAPBAND IV album....(my folks bought it for "You dropped a bomb on me") I stole that damn vinyl to play "OUTSTANDING" every single day!!!! One of the songs I couldn't live without...don't know who I would be without it.... One day, I'm gonna shake Charlie Wilson's hand and thank him!!! | |
