Very nice.

I recently tried the DSOTM/Oz experiment. It didn't seem so magical, but my synchronization might have been off.

Dogs of Peace, a Christian duo that put out a self-titled album a few years back, was heavily influenced by DSOTM. It was made up of some fairly established music producers whose names elude me...

But, yes, a classic.

It's an over-rated classic...

Actually ,its overplayed...but its still a classic.
It's probably their best album.IMHO, much better than "The Wall".

a classic, no question. Their best album, and that's saying alot because they had a string of classic albums.

DARK SIDE OF THE MOON is the quintessential classic rock album. To really understand it you have to hear it from beginning to end. It's really an amazing piece of work. There are very few albums made that way anymore...just think of the last record you could hear from front to back and not skip a tune. (Exception to the rule: Prince)

I just recently picked up a few more albums...RELICS, ANIMALS, WISH YOU WERE HERE and really want to clear up a whole evening so I can really let them sink in!

If you have not tried the infamous DARK SIDE/WIZARD OF OZ thing...you should try it. It really helps you are in an adjusted frame of mind (if ya know what I'm talking about)...getting drunk helps but it really does'nt do the trick..

Just start the record immediately after the MGM Lion's 3rd roar and see what happens!!!
Every minute of last night is on my face today....

classic album, of course, but have any of you heard "dub side of the moon" ? it's the entire album remade by reggae artists. ... and it's wizard of oz compatible as well.
Keep your headphones on.

There are some weaker spots, but This is CLASSIC, all the way.
