hmmm could Paris Jackson pull this off? Many people think she looks like a young Madonna

Only if she can act. They need to get a real actress. Who earned her acting chops.

How is that different from any other celebrity or musician writing a book? Everyone writes from their perspective and how they experienced things. I don't really believe in such a thing as objective truth. Everyone sees things differently and has their own version of the truth based on their own unique life experience.

Isn't her brother just as biased as she would be? It seemed to me he had an axe to grind against her so is he really all that objective and truthful?

I think Madonna is a pretty straightforward honest person in interviews. But she can only write from her perspective. Other people may have experienced the same events differently.

I've just finished reading Springsteen's book (great read btw, well worth a look). I think because the 'onstage' Bruce is so close to who he actually is, with so much of his material autobiographical, his book was as close to what actually happened as its possible to get ... granted, with his opinion or take on those things included.

Madonna has never really been an autobiographical performer, with the odd exception in her music (Oh Father, In This Life, Substitute for Love, Live to Tell). Her 'onstage' Madonna has always seemed to me more of a construct, a character she plays to different degrees. Even in her interviews, she never truly seems to switch that character off completely. Would she do that for a book? I'm not sure ...

Christopher definitely had an axe to grind with his book (I think he'd been recently booted off her staff ... might be wrong), and he certainly gave his opinion on events that happened ... but they were events I couldn't see Madonna writing about. Like when AIDS became prominent in the eighties and Sean Penn pulled Chris aside one day and, knowing he was gay, asked if he was safe having shaken his hand a few times.

I can't see Madonna writing that plainly ... it would affect the image she's worked so hard for so long to build. Same thing I said to a friend recently with The Undertaker retiring from WWE; a tell all book from him would be an amazing read, but I doubt he'll do it because he's worked to hard to craft his public persona.

Take a listen to most of her ballads, most of them specially from Erotica upto Rebel Heart sound quite autobiographical to me.

And the classic True Blue and Till Death Do Us Part both songs written about Sean Penn.
