Generally speaking if the wife or kids want to see Bruno Mars then all the salty Sams are either going to see him too, or pony up and pay for the tickets..... either way. comfort

Twenty years from now Bruno will be set if he minds his coins wisely, period, end of.

They'll check out Bruno's stuff before checking out Ed Sheeran's water-flavored music lol

Gunsnhalen

Brunos last album was pretty fun and an easy listen. I still hate Brunos ballads and cringe when i hear Grenade or when i was your man confused but i do enjoy his R&B/Funk stuff and am curious to see where he will go in a few years.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

I don't find Bruno Mars as cool as he thinks he is.

He's a decent music artist

The bashing Bruno Mars gets is very hyprocritical and racist driven because he isn't a token.

Here is a guy who tries to make descent music (something a pop star nowadays hardly ever does). He pays homage to his influencers and old school sounds (something NO other current pop star is doing) BUT yet people bash him, I will never understand it. I don't see anybody calling him a Mozart but at least give the man credit for picking up a pen and pad and making a some what listenable song with old school flaire. Yall are a joke with constantly bashing him but then caping for more trashier artists.

Me too. I don't know wtf people are not getting.... rolleyes

Bruno has made it clear, again and again that he is NOT here to reinvent the wheel, break new ground or produce insightful, navel gazing content. He can sing, play and dance his ass off, does NOT pretend to be anything other than who he is AND I FUCKING LOVE HIM FOR IT!!!

Why people are STILL whining and making absurd, harebrained comments accusing him of brainwashing of all things is beyond me. eek

I'm just grateful as hell that at least somebody is making a damn good effort at doing funk anymore.

This is the same kind of fuckery we heard from people who didn't like Condensate. rolleyes

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! clapping clapping clapping

I dont need to add anything to this because you said it all!

Also big shout-out to Dasein, Shawy89 and MotownSubdivision--agree with y'all said as well.

And to you clueless haters that continue to run up in every Bruno Mars thread here only to bash him with the same old tired he's not original, a swagger-jacker, copycat nonsense...did you even read the article? Probably not, you just wanna come here and complain about him...again. rolleyes

This whole of thing of if an artist isnt completely 100% original and pays homage to a certain style of old is somehow a fraud and should be condemned is complete and utter BULL!

An artist does not have to completely reinvent the wheel to be great--and Bruno is great at what he does, which is making fun, harmless music that hearkens back to the 70s, 80s and 90s. Plus he's one helluva live performer.

So haters, stop wasting your time on bashing Bruno and find something more constructive to do with yourselves and let Bruno be great. smile

[Edited 2/1/17 12:20pm]

If you observe these same fonts that dislike him, they also listen to other generic artists so I don't take their disdain for Bruno seriously, it seems personal. Bruno goes away fo 4 years, stays in his lane, acknowledges his influences, plays instruments, writes his own music with added old school flaire. Even if he is not someones cup of tea, he doesn't do anything to really make one have disdain for him. He seems down to earth, makes descent music and then goes home. What you see is what you get, the hate for him is personal and racist driven.

RJOrion

Bruno Mars's family members and publicists riding severals cars deep in the comments...i see you...in the midst of yall feelings, you are overthinking and over feeling things...its not that serious...musically speaking he's just hella average at best...trying to make a case for racism and petty jealousy and all that other rhetoric, is beyond silly...yeah he does decent numbers but theres artists wacker than him, doing numbers, so thats irrelevant, but to each your own...Just the way you are...
