Fingers crossed cool

Nix The Weeknd and add some of Prince's contemporaries and I'd say it's good.

Bruno Mars was added to the lineup of performers at The 59th Annual Grammy Awards. He joins the previously announced Adele, John Legend, Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

It's all over my Facebook timeline that The Original 7 (as in The Time) will be joining Bruno Mars on stage. I think Morris Day broke the news on Donnie Simpson's radio show. cool

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

The latest round of guest performers have been confirmed for the 2017 Grammy Awards with A Tribe Called Quest set for a special performance alongside Anderson .Paak and Foo Fighters's Dave Grohl.

Joining them on the bill will be The Weeknd and Daft Punk. French duo Daft Punk last performed live at The Grammys in 2014 alongside Pharrell and Stevie Wonder. The other new names for the 2017 ceremony are Alicia Keys and Maren Morris who will also perform together

Jesse stated that him neither Jerome were invited. Stay tuned.
As much as I love Jesse as an artist he always seems to be the one to
ignite a toxic fire in the group. Jerome probably just told Morris motherfucker
I've been holding that mirror for your ass for 35 years and I ain't got a damn raise yet. lol

John Legend and Cynthia Erivo will perform a memorial to musicians who have died in the past year.

I'm not sure if Leonard Cohen or George Michael will get special tributes.

The commercial states Prince and George Michael are getting tributes.

I wonder who can do justice to Careless Whisper?

Better yet I wonder if Andrew will introduce the tribute.

Grammys 2017: Prince, George Michael Tributes Announced

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will host tributes to Prince and George Michael. Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow described the pair as “pop icons who showcased rare musical genius and otherworldly charisma,” saying the Academy is “humbled to pay homage to their tremendous legacies on the GRAMMY stage.” The ceremony broadcasts from 8 p.m. Eastern this Sunday. Sources indicate that Prince’s music will finally become available on streaming services on the night. Previously announced performers include Daft Punk, Adele, Chance, and a duet between Lady Gaga and Metallica.

Frank Ocean goes OFF on the grammys. But is he correct?

Here's what I know:

Frank's grammy performance was sh!t. Apparently he knows that too.

Taylor Swift should NOT have won another Best Album award over anyone. But is it kosher for a fellow artist to state that publicly?

Frank feels he's doing more justice to Prince by not participating. This could be true. But it also gives Bruno Mars a chance to be tomorrow, and possibly grammy history, talk as one of THOSE performances.

Works up for consideration shouldn't have to be submitted. I know this is how these shows work but it's just a lazy excuse for members not to be up on their sh!t.

And lastly, after that last performance, I would've gone on JUST to redeem myself. But that's just me.

http://ew.com/music/2017/...ank-ocean/

:

OK KEN (AND DAVID). AS MUCH AS I HATE TO MAKE YOU GUYS FAMOUS OR EVEN RESPOND TO YOU DIRECTLY. WE ALL DIE ONE DAY AND YOU’RE OLD SO F— IT. YEA YEA MY 2013 PERFORMANCE AT THE GRAMMYS WAS ABSOLUTE SH–. TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, BLAH BLAH. THANKS FOR THE REMINDER. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. F— THAT PERFORMANCE THOUGH. YOU THINK THAT’S WHY I KEPT MY WORK OUT OF THE GRAMMY PROCESS THIS YEAR? DON’T YOU THINK I WOULD’VE WANTED TO PLAY THE SHOW TO ‘REDEEM’ MYSELF IF I FELT THAT WAY? IN REALITY, I ACTUALLY WANTED TO PARTICIPATE IN HONORING PRINCE ON THE SHOW BUT THEN I FIGURED MY BEST TRIBUTE TO THAT MAN’S LEGACY WOULD BE TO CONTINUE TO BE MYSELF OUT HERE AND TO BE SUCCESSFUL. WINNING A TV AWARD DOESN’T CHRISTEN ME SUCCESSFUL. IT TOOK ME SOME TIME TO LEARN THAT. I BOUGHT ALL MY MASTERS BACK LAST YEAR IN THE PRIME OF MY CAREER, THAT’S SUCCESSFUL. BLONDE SOLD A MILLION PLUS WITHOUT A LABEL, THAT’S SUCCESSFUL. I AM YOUNG, BLACK, GIFTED AND INDEPENDENT.. THAT’S MY TRIBUTE. I’VE ACTUALLY BEEN TUNING INTO CBS AROUND THIS TIME OF YEAR FOR A WHILE TO SEE WHO GETS THE TOP HONOR AND YOU KNOW WHAT’S REALLY NOT ‘GREAT TV’ GUYS? 1989 GETTING ALBUM OF THE YEAR OVER TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY. HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE MOST ‘FAULTY’ TV MOMENTS I’VE SEEN. BELIEVE THE PEOPLE. BELIEVE THE ONES WHO’D RATHER WATCH SELECT PERFORMANCES FROM YOUR PROGRAM ON YOUTUBE THE DAY AFTER BECAUSE YOUR SHOW PUTS THEM TO SLEEP. USE THE OLD GRAMOPHONE TO ACTUALLY LISTEN BRO, I’M ONE OF THE BEST ALIVE. AND IF YOU’RE UP FOR A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE CULTURAL BIAS AND GENERAL NERVE DAMAGE THE SHOW YOU PRODUCE SUFFERS FROM THEN I’M ALL FOR IT. HAVE A GOOD NIGHT.
