This. Plus Bootsy Collins tweeted that he needs the fan's prayers. . Apparently Richard's been in a wheelchair since a 2009 hip surgery that "went awry". He also suffered a heart attack, by his own admission, just a few short years ago. There are details in the linked article. A quick Google search brings up stories saying he only has a few days left. Its such a shame when people of his calibre die but he's lived a good and full life and I hope he is at least comfortable in his final days. I know he's very religious so hopefully his beliefs are of some comfort to him. | |
