Original P (featuring original P-Funk member Grady Thomas) new album "Funk Force Trauma"


Original member & Rock and Roll Hall of Famer ShadyGrady Thomas & his band Original P are back with new material for the first time in 15 years. "Funk Force Trauma" also features 3 of the final songs with fellow original Parliament-Funkadelic vocalists Fuzzy Haskins, Calvin Simon & the late Ray Davis, as well as the late Mallia "Queen Of Funk" Franklin of Parlet & Kevin Shider, brother of the late Garry Shider.


It was originally exclusively on bandcamp.com, but "Funk Force Trauma" is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play & TIDAL as well.

Personally I think both Fuzzy records rank up there with some of the best stuff out of the whole camp. But then again, I'm someone who actually dug the Connections & Disconnections album. The new Original P record is purported to be a prequel to another larger collection of songs called "POOP".
Could this title be somehow related as an answer to the recent George Clinton chant "got that doo doo"?

Some of these cuts have got that grimy gritty fonk on 'em and I am digging on them hard.

"We, 0riginal P., is "nappily" workin' o'ertime on "Parallel Object 0utput Program", aka (P.O.0.P.). Just finished adding Gene G Thomas' screamin' guitar to "It is what it is" and "Apple Tree..."
