She had some beautiful features, especially her eyes. As a very young girl in the 70's, I will always remember her for her song "An Everlasting Love" mushy mushy

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Only thing I didn't like about after the funeral. It was like a reunion award show outside.. You would've NEVER thought everyone just left a funeral..

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

I take it you've never seen a New Orleans style funeral with a band going down the street like a parade. Its not all sad, more like a party

Well you said that it was like they didn't just came out of a funeral, like there is only one way that a funeral goes. So that means you are not only talking about Natalie, but funerals in general since you are comparing the outside scene to what you think is supposed to happen at a funeral.

Again I'm only talking about that funeral.Because I was in attendance. How other funeral are(and I've been to many lately) is not my concern right now.

According to celebrity website TMZ.com, Natalie Cole has died.

The website reports, that Natalie "had been sick recently, canceling several tour dates in late December. She also canceled an upcoming February concert due to illness."

The daughter of Nat King Cole, Natalie rose to musical success in the mid-1970s as an R&B artist with the hits "This Will Be", "Inseparable", and "Our Love". In 1987 she re-emerged as a pop artist with the 1987 album, Everlasting, and her cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac".

In the 1990s, she re-recorded standards by her father, resulting in her biggest success, Unforgettable... with Love, which sold over seven million copies and also won Cole numerous Grammy Awards. She has sold over 30 million records worldwide

TMZ also reports, "Natalie has suffered from liver disease and went through a transplant. She also contracted Hepatitis C, for which she underwent chemo."

Natalie, who was married 3 times and has a son, was 65.

my only problem with this is that none of the black tv stations filmed the funeral and tevised it.

When I attended the funeral. The family was VERY adamant that no cameras be allowed. No pictures to be posted on social media. Especially Facebook. They wanted it to be a private personal affair to those only in attendance & I respected their wishes. They didn't want anyone viewing what a special, humble person they felt she was. It was so many entertainers in attendance. They said some very touching things about her. But that's how they wanted it. It was beautiful. Also it wasn't advertised either. Not many knew when it was. Except the ones that really cared about her.

Rolling Stone did not do a write up on Natalie Cole at all in the Jan 14 issue nor the current issue devoted to the death of David Bowie, but Scott Weiland got a 2 page write up....

Well that is actually a natural thing that happens at funerals.
People find out they had family they never knew of at funerals.

This wasn't that type of funeral. Celebrities was hugging ,kissing, laughing exchanging numbers, posing for pictures. While the casket was being whisked away. Smh. But it was very private so I guess they felt VERY comfortable...
