Megadeth Appreciation!

I'm listening to Rust in peace for the first time in years and damn what a great album!! Every track slays!! It's like Dave wasn't having it on this album and came out with guns blazing!! I honestly haven't been following them as of lately but I see they have a new album out in January called Dystopia. I may have to get this as I miss listening to metal. Any Mega fans here?

Rust in Peace is fucking brilliant. It's one of the best thrash albums ever. Peace Sells...But Who's Buying is amazing, too. Countdown to Extinction has its moments. I lost track of Megadeth after that.

Anyway, yeah, Rust in Peace. Fuck yeah.

I love Megadeth, apart from a couple of wierd albums in the 90's, namely Risk and Cryptic Writings, most of their albums have plenty to enjoy. they have been on a steady rise since The World Needs A Hero, Thirteen and Super Collider were excellent.

What do you mean, I aint kind? Just not your kind... headbang

Used to love this band. Metalica, slayer and Anthrax too back in the day. Alas, my ears softened over the years and none of this gets played anymore. Aside from Metalica who I think became quite shit, I have no idea what the others have been up to over the past few decades.

Anthrax had a great new album with Joey Belladonna back on vocals, called Worship Music.

Slayer just released a new album that's been getting good reviews.

Was it Megadeth that did the song in Last Action Hero or am I thinking of someone else?

There were many songs on that soundtrack. I think Megadeth was on there.

If you get the CD Hidden Treasures it compiled all the soundtrack tracks together, there are 8 altogether.
