So What Song Will Be the Smash Hit of Summer 2015?

We had a simiar thread going last year....so who do you think will win the crown for the Smash Hit of Summer 2015??

I'll start...

Disclosure - Holding On

They just released this new dope track that's already kicked off summer for me!

The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

How about This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Muther, by Moron 5. Possibly the dumbest lyrics ever.

"Cheerleader" by Omi or "Lean On" by Major Lazer with the former already being a hit all over Europe.

That Britney song is a total flop.

Besides the Britney/Iggy Azalea video, this is already gunning to be the big summer jam:

But can it beat out this hit which has already ruled most of the spring?

Or will this hip hop jam dominate the neighborhood house parties?

Or will this girl group work their way into our Spotify playlists?

Or will people just shut up and dance to this ditty?

Or is this the natural "summer" song people are waiting for?

Or will listeners cheer wildly for this jam?

Or will this song bubble up from underground to become the late summer jam of 2015?

music cool sun typing

The Disclosure track above is fun.... in a 1992 kind of way.

The Om track is listenable, but I suspect it could get old really fast.

The rest of this stuff is trash, as far as I'm concerned.

πρὸς ὀλίγον ἐστὶ τὸ ζῆν
τὸ τέλος ὁ χρόνος ἀπαιτεῖ.”

I predict "Bitch I'm Madonna." It's got that sound that would blare out of Jeeps with the tops down at the beach and that everyone would be boppin' to. Hopefully, it'll boost sales for "Rebel Heart" as well. smile

I recently saw a drag queen do an astounding number of B, I'm Madonna! It made me a fan of the song.

it won't be that Britney Spears/Iggy Azalea duet.I was just reading about the feud these two ladies are having. The song flopped and Iggy is pissed because Britney didn't wanna do any promotion for it (TV appearances, etc). The song was dead on arrival.

That new Duran Duran song with Nile Rodgers and Janelle Monae "Pressure Off" sounds like it could/should be a huge summer hit. Very fun and catchy, unfortunately this site won't let me paste the Youtube link...

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Yes...So many artists have a hard time getting record deals and being able to make a Video is almost uncertain. I am amazed that Kenny is still finding a way to make all of it happen...
