I agree, they don't really seem that affectionate in photos with each other but as long as Janet is happy that is what is most important.

They were at that Armani event. The photographer probably told something like: "Get closer Janet". It's Janet's job, not Wissam's. He's not very comfortable with media. That's all. Photos made by paparazzi are much better.

Interesting, we'll see if she really does come out with new music. I loved her earlier stuff, got turned off later. But I'd definitely give a listen to anything new from her.

That isnt a weave. That is a wig and its attached to the hat. Her outfit would have been cute if she had taken off the tacky wig/hat and wore a regular wig or weave. The hammer pants are meh, they look better on taller people.

I remember! I am still in disbelief though, FYE be damned. Release dates move and evaporate all the time.

Ian Cross basically confirmed its an album of new music. I just hope there's no Mariah-like trend chasing songs on it. I like about half of Discipline, but she's taken her time with this so I forsee it being less filler, more substance. I'm excited for her to reenter the limelight.

It's only two months away. She should be promoting it like crazy already and pushing a single. I am a little concerned. She can't "pull a Beyonce" if she's been gone for half a decade.

Katy Perry's "California Gurls" was released in May 2010, "Teenage Dream" was released in July 2010, and the album arrived in August 2010. I think that makes more sense in setting up a release for the public, even though it drives me nuts.

i kinda hope she stays low key if and when she releases new music, dont do any interviews, make a tweet every couple weeks, and then announce a tour.if she do the whole traditional promo thing they are gonna be more focused on her personal life than her music, i wanna hear about the music. she's been supposedly working on this album since 2010, iwanna hear what was going on,how many times she changed directions, she could maybe even do a documentary.

I totally agree with this! She should keep the mysterious things going. It was amazing to see all of the press around her just appearing at that Armani event. If she does do the talk show rounds such as Oprah, Ellen, etc. I truly believe they would want to focus more on her personal life especially Oprah. But truth be told if she does comeback she is going to have to address it either which way. I just don't want it to overshadow the music.

thats why she should stay elusive, people are always randomly bringing her up and its good to see people actually wanting new music. that silly missing person poster made it to legit news outlets and was all over the internet, imagine the press she would get for actually releasing an album, she dont need to do a beyonce she can actually tell us its coming out and just go head and release it without doing any talk shows, radio (they not gonna play her anyway),thank god there is no more 106&park. i wouldnt mind a couple of print interviews.

finally...

I agree in keeping it low key...people will respect her more and may be more interested. I think there is a hunger for her again....she has been gone a long time.....she is popping up in a lot of articles and other places where she is being appreciated and missed. Because of this hunger....I think she could do well with a surprise release. At this point though....I don't care if she does well...and she likely/hopefully doesn't care either....as long as the music is amazing.
