Emmanuel "EJ" Johnson (from Enchantment) was possibly the best falsetto next to MJ?

Just recently, I've been listening to a lot of Enchantment music. Normally, as a guy, I dont say this, but I'm really feeling EJ's singing. He sings pretty good and he couldve possibly been as good as Michael Jackson.

I never saw EJ until recently on Youtube. He's an older, light skinned man and on the older videos, he was young and light skinned. But I remember hearing him before I seen him, and I always envisioned a dark, skinny young black guy. His voice changed a little bit and its not as light as it was in the 70s and 80s..but he still can hit those high notes.

He never gets his credit but he's probably one of my fav singers.

But do you agree he could've been right up there with MJ?

I think EJ said he was legally blind on Soul Train.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
