Happy 25th Annniversary to Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison"!!! Thread On this day back in 1990, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe (as Bell Biv DeVoe, or BBD for short) released their smash hit debut album, "Poison" and help bring in the 90s with their fusion of Hip Hop, R&B and Pop, or as their slogan suggests: "Our Music Is Mentally Hip Hop, Smoothed Out on the R&B Tip, with a Pop Feel Appeal To It". So come and let's celebrate this ground-breaking album by these 3 members of New Edition!!!!!!

Do Me Baby was by far my favorite off the album. It has an infectious groove that still resonates today. I was surprised the single Poison was huge as it was. Don't laugh at my funk
