That really was a bland show, Madonna aside for obvious reasons. It certainly makes me appreciate Prince who, even now, would have made a huge impression. Kanye was just an embarrassment...oh look, he can swear.

I don't see the artistry in that performance, I'm sorry, and the song was a dirge from start to finish. I was as shocked as anyone to see Madonna fall. You'll notice nobody came to her aid (possibly too scared), but she kept a hold of her microphone which was crucial. Can you imagine if it had rolled away and she was left to scramble about for it?

Grudging respect to Ed Sheeran...he's everywhere, which annoys me, but his performance at least had some energy and skill involved.

Just seen Ed's perormance. Easily the best of the night. I'm not a fan of his music but credit to him, at least he had some passion and energy.

Yea , best of a bland bunch though! This generation must be easily pleased, but we are coming off the s club 7 and take that generation so anyone who has a bit of genuine talent looks like Mozart, ie Ed bloody Sheeran.

I thought Ed Sheeran stole the show. His performance was just epic.

I don't think she could carry on if her hip was badly injured, but her neck, head and back may have benn injured.

I agree that going on with the performance like she did was pretty badass. I have never questioned her character, as in work ethic, as in being a total badass when it comes to getting shit done, and I never will.

Oh, c'mon. She got up because there was nothing else to do.

And don't start with Madonna "work ethic", please.
Sticking her tongue into Britney's mouth to get some media attention
is probably something of a heroic move to you.

Getting shit done? Yes, that Madge single is just that.
Serves her right to have become a follower instead of a trendsetter.

UM... please.... no thank you eek

This is worse than the "Tick-Tick-Bang" routine, which says a lot.

Sad to say, I think I prefer a broken hip.
