As a huge Lenny fan I thought it was bad enough he did only half a song, but him singing "I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It" was beyond ridiculous! He should have declined the invitation, unless he was planning to be at the game anyways. "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself." |

Your co-worker read my thoughts exactly! This was the worst Superbowl halftime show I've ever seen. Bored the hell out of me. I love Lenny and Missy, but it seemed like they were just thrown in at the last minute. Katy clearly couldn't keep up with the dance moves that Missy and her back up dancers were doing and they absolutely killed it...that was probably the best part of the whole show. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Let's not twist this up now...Missy didn't "wreck the show". Prince did. She was only "eh", no better or worse than Katy Perry. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Halftime show was lame as hell.
It was all over the place like it was just thrown together or something. katy had this Nickelodeon/bubble gum thing going, then Lenny tried to rock out, (and failed), then they threw Missy in there, I'm not sure why?
Putting these three performers together on one show just made everything seem confused and disjointed. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. |

Pretty sure they were trying to satisfy fans of all three genres - pop, rock and hip hop - with the halftime show because the viewing audience was so diverse. But yeah, they didn't seem to mesh too well.

The purpose of effects used to be for enhancing the show...now the effects "are" the show.

I think she was definitely the best part of the whole show. I don't really dig LK anymore, and I think he's tootin' that caine again. I was paying attention to him during the post-show interview, and he was licking his mouth and doing the "hide-nose-sniffle" action. And basically, Katy didn't. |
